Listening to WhatsApp Voice Notes.
I suspect that's a question for WhatsApp, they may have security concerns about using Bluetooth.

Not just a question for EV drivers, just any members on here. What temperature do you set your cars interior to be at?
My climate control is set at 20° in Summer and 21° in Winter. GFs spends most of the time at 20° but has short burts down as low as 17° 😁

VENTILATION ISSUE BLOWER CLICK NOISE
Sounds like one of the temperature flaps (there is more than one) is stuck - you really need a decent code scan (with e.g. VCDS or OBDeleven) to tell you which one.

Start stop error
Battery needs charging? Something staying on when it shouldn't, such as a dash cam?
-
Software Update
Over the air updates are not available on the Octavia 3.

Octavia model code difference.
The 20 plate has a GFP, the 19 plate doesn't.

Wheel upgrade for new combi?
Larger wheels mean lower profile tyres which will give a harsher ride - so only do it if cosmetic appearances matter a lot to you.

No driving mode options on 1.6 diesel DSG?
My Elegance and L&K have the Mode button, but other spec levels may not.

Tyre deflation warning sign on dash.
The different rotational speed of the wheel will make the ABS based TPMS think that that tyre is deflated. Moving it to any other position on the car won't make any difference to that. Seriously, you need to have tyres/wheels on each axle that are the same outside diameter, so you need to have replaced 2 tyres or 4 but not 3.

No driving mode options on 1.6 diesel DSG?
Driving Mode was an option on many trim levels, not standard. The manual covers all options so many things mentioned in the manual won't be on your Octavia.

AFS ERROR
Sounds like a problem with the headlight positioning motor on the drivers side. Best get a fault code scan done with VCDS or OBDeleven.

2015 VRS - Remap, Headunit and Foglamp Bulb Upgrade
Yep, it's not activated by default as it's a chargeable SwAP feature.

Removing front bumper lower panel
Interesting that the title in the manual is "Change bulb for fog light switch" when actually it's nothing to do with the switch, it's the actual fog light bulb!

A5 Lane assist camera
It's not unknown for the cable to the A5 camera to go faulty, it's reported quite often on the Ross-Tech VCDS forum?

2015 VRS - Remap, Headunit and Foglamp Bulb Upgrade
Press the MENU button (bottom right), then scroll the horizontal list of options that appears until CarPlay (which looks just like a large Play button) is in the middle then click on it. If your iPhone is plugged into the USB socket CarPlay will connect, then press the symbol at the bottom right of the screen (a set of small blocks) as I said before.

Wife's non fault claim - will it affect my insurance premiums as well?
Removing her from your insurance will probably increase the premium if you remain as the only driver.

2015 VRS - Remap, Headunit and Foglamp Bulb Upgrade
When in CarPlay press the symbol at the bottom right of the screen (a set of small blocks).

Tested and working coding Octavia mk4
Same here.

Tested and working coding Octavia mk4
Sounds like the front radar could be out of alignment if it's detecting a vehicle effectively in the lane to your left as being in front.

Tested and working coding Octavia mk4
SFD2 is a new "protection" scheme from VW, it makes it impossible to even scan modules for faults without a trick. The latest release of VCDS has a workaround to be able to scan modules, but not yet to be able to change settings which are locked by SFD (they're working on it but VW moves at a glacial speed). Maybe the answer is to scan using the latest VCDS, but then make changes using OBDeleven which does have an SFD unlock mechanism?

2015 VRS - Remap, Headunit and Foglamp Bulb Upgrade
Simple answer, none. Every headunit needs to know the setup of the car it's being installed in which means it needs coding and adaptation to be checked/changed. Some people, such as @pab567, can make the changes before they ship the headunit to you. Any Halogen bulb that is a direct physical fit (even the extra bright ones) won't need coding changes, if you replace them with LED (check the legality of that in Ireland) then adaptation channel changes will be needed to tell the car that you have fitted LEDs.

Cruise Control doesn't work. Computer shows 0 error codes.
Have you actually sat in the car and seen it for yourself after the dealer 'fix'? Yes, I'm suspicious of what dealer staff say!
-
Cruise Control doesn't work. Computer shows 0 error codes.
So the orange light has gone but the cruise still doesn't work? Is the cruise stalk pushed fully away from you, turning it off? Try pulling the cruise stalk towards you.

Cruise Control doesn't work. Computer shows 0 error codes.
That symbol in orange with an exclamation mark is very unlikely to appear without an error code being present, I suggest getting a scan done with VCDS or OBDeleven.

Octavia "CR" vs "RS" ?
Both - there is a diesel version of the RS, and also a non-RS diesel version. Since yours is a Scout then it's not an RS so I would suggest your insurers describe it as a CR - but you really should ring them to confirm.
