Multiple error/warning lights - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor issue?
The TPMS uses wheel speed sensors so that's a 'sympathy' fault code, I think it's pretty safe to assume that there's a problem with the left rear wheel speed sensor OR the wiring to it. If you have Park Assist make sure you get the correct wheel speed sensor as it's different.

New to Skoda ownership
In the UK 95 is now up to 10% ethanol and 98 is up to 5% ethanol, I don't know for sure but I can't see why 98 with up to 10% ethanol would be a problem?

Have replaced the battery in my key fob but it doesn’t work, any ideas
What make are the batteries? The remotes are very sensitive to battery manufacturer, it seems it;s not just about voltage but also internal construction/resistance. Delaers use Panasonic CR2025 AFAIK.

How to connect with smartlink wirelessly (?)
Really easy to setup, it's been on two cars now and performs with no issues for me.

AWD Oil Change and maintaining warranty
Car was just out of warranty but still with full Skoda dealer service history when: 1) a parking sensor failed, was told cost would be in excess of £200 to get correct sensor fitted and painted, I said it should not have failed in normal use and after dealer had discussion with Skoda UK they agreed to cover the full cost. 2) right rear wheel speed sensor failed (car had Park Assist so correct sensor required) cost was quoted at £500, I argued this was excessive for a wheel speed sensor so again delaer got OK from Skoda UK to pay half the cost.

AWD Oil Change and maintaining warranty
That's not my experience - in the last 5 years I've had 'goodwill' repairs done by the Skoda dealers in Barnstaple and near Trowbridge, and the Toyota dealers in Barnstaple & Trowbridge. Even though it usually costs more I always have my cars serviced at a dealer whilst under warranty and then switch to a word-of-mouth recommended local independent.

AWD Oil Change and maintaining warranty
The warranty yes, but in the event there are any 'goodwill' campaigns you will likely miss out on those if you don't have a full Skoda service history.

Skoda Octavia ChipTuning
Same here with my 1.8TSi and DQ200, on moving off it almost immediately changes into 2nd.

Can I change the BMS target SOC from 80% using VCDS
AFAIK there are no coding or adaptation settings in the BMS for the SOC target and hence have to assume that it's hard coded.

Octavia VRS 2018 New tyres?
For summer tyres what about Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 6? I've been very happy with the earlier versions on both an Audi RS4 and an Octavia Elegance. Both my Octavia's have come on Continental PremiumContact which I really don't rate - even with only a 1.4 & a 1.8 it's just too easy to spin a front wheel even with the highest level of XDS set.

Spoof "Police Aware" maybe?

VW developing ID2(?) Golf variants EV
I'm told that those who go on the school run prefer SUVs because of the higher sitting position and the perception that they will perform better in a crash - so the car makers are designing and building what a large chuck of potential customers appear to want.

How to connect with smartlink wirelessly (?)
For one that definitely works with CarPlay, I've been using this one for over 2 years now https://cplay2air.com/en-gb

Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
Then it sounds like the FeC code that activates CarPlay has somehow been lost since AA works but uses a different FeC code.
-
Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
Two things to try: - another iPhone in your car, to see if CarPlay is still enabled in your MIB - your iPhone in another car with known working CarPlay These are to work out if the problem is your new iPhone or whether the MIB has lost the FeC code for CarPlay (it's not the same FeC code as for AA)
-
Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
I run the public beta versions of iOS and have no problems with CarPlay, so I suspect a setup problem not a MIB or iOS problem. Have you checked Settings, General, CarPlay on your iPhone?

Glow plug flashes
True, but arguing as a new member won't make you many 'friends' - best to just move on and stick with trying to solve the problem you asked about.

Do NZ octane ratings use the US or UK system? UK system is the average of MON and RON ratings but US ratings are just MON - so 91 octane US = 95 octane UK, and 93 octane US = 98 octane UK.

NIP received from average speed camera
Not just written but also spoken English on phone calls, media, etc. - to me it seems we are becoming the 51st state of the United States of America when it comes to language and culture.

Battery keeps going flat
Parking lights are the side lights on one side or the other. If you leave the indicator stalk to either the left or the right then the side lights on that side (parking lights) are left turned on with the ignition off - so did you check the indicator stalk on returning to the car?

Octavia MK3 Ride Hight
Neither, just been out to check they're 225/40R18.

Octavia MK3 Ride Hight
Both my previous 1.4 Elegance estate and current 1.8 L&K hatch have 225/40x17 tyres on 17" wheels.

How far were you outside of the speed restricted zone at the 'Exit' photo? Is it possible to have kept within the 50 zone and accelerated 'immediately' to 70 at the end of the zone and achieve an average of 58?
