  1. Sounds like an intermittent problem, possibly heat related, with the fuel pump control module (or wiring to it) caused the fuel pump not to run making the low fuel pressure a sympathy fault.
  2. +1 It's often several hours out of date, the worst example I've experienced was telling me about roadworks that had finished a YEAR earlier!
  3. I would treat that with a pinch of salt, looking at the Octavia 4 forum shows people waiting well over a year for their Octavia and some giving up and cancelling their order.
  4. At least the coding, and possibly adaptation channels, will need checking as it depends on the equipment in the vehicle it came from and is going into.
  5. ITIS and Trafficmaster, I believe VW UK use Trafficmaster.
  6. Same here, looks like VW haven't renewed the subscription to UK TMC.
  7. I miss seeing the Goldfinches which were regular visitors to our garden in North Devon.
  8. I never got that from my V8 RS4, even when I had to remapped to have a redline of 8600rpm - i just had to get the revs that high even more often 😁
  9. I admire your faith in the product knowledge of Skoda dealers, but sadly I don't share it!
  10. They often deserve their nickname of Halfrauds
  11. I agree - the V12 is silky smooth and almost screams but lacks real emotion IMHO, however the angry thunder of the V8 makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
  12. We seem to have gone off topic here as we're in the Octavia 3 forum (which doesn't have EPB) and Gammyleg has a Superb which does have EPB.
  13. IIRC TMC is a subscription service, maybe Skoda UK haven't renewed the subscription?
  14. No Mk3 Octavia has EPB.
  15. Very unlikely I would have thought, aren't the doors a different shape and size?
  16. Pretty much what my GFs eldest son says about his Tesla - faults not getting fixed and the sparse dealer network not remotely interested in helping fix problems.
  17. My ex had a Mk1 Fabia 1.2HTP 16V which would drive pretty well provided you gave it revs rather than using the non-existent low end torque.
  18. You're better off asking in the Octavia 4 forum, where owners of the Mk4 visit - and they'll know better than us Mk3 owners 👍
  19. ... assuming the card is large enough for the current map data. I've had to upsize to a 32GB card from the 16GB card that came with my 2016 model.
  20. Did you mean "are NOT"?
  21. 1. Look for the soft key labelled PTCD - very shorthand for PosTCoDe 2. I'm guessing you have an Amundsen sat nav as that reads the maps directly off the SD card. You can download newer maps from the Skoda portal (or using the links posted on here), but you MUST use a genuine Skoda SD card. I get mine off a well known auction site as the dealer price is ridiculous IMHO.
  22. Already happened in Barnstaple - Marshalls is one showroom and workshop for VW, Audi and Skoda (not sure about SEAT and Cupra).
