  5. Yes' they're right (assuming yours is non DCC and non 4WD). With regards to a rear ARB, I was going to do mine also but I'm pretty happy with the results after just fitting the shocks so I'd suggest you just try them first
  6. +2 on Ctek, I have 2. you'll find these branded by some prestige manufacturers as their own to sell to their customers at an inflated price i guess Angelo
  7. Same for me too on my sportline tdi 150 dsg est., can highly recommend
  8. I meant 215/60/16 tyres
  9. a good resource... Skoda Superb - Specs of wheel sizes, tires, PCD, Offset and Rims - Wheel-Size.com I have bought a set of standard 16" steel wheels and 215/65/16 winter tyres for mine, were bought used. Painted them silver and instead of wheel trims used VW caddy centre caps. They are companies that supply winter sets with tyres if preferred.... will post a link if I can find one. Angelo
  10. I bought one of these (non- variable boot floor) happy with it. Superb III Estate Estate 09/2015+ Archives - Carbox
  11. Yes search this forum, plenty of info on here. After researching on here I fitted myself the Koni Special Actives on my 2016 TDI sportline estate from DC Performance. Springs are original. Much improved the car. Original ones are pants. Angelo

  13. Shock absorbers are well documented on this group and provided me the information I required to make the decision to 'fix' mine. New shocks on (Koni) and it's so much nicer to drive. Was the only thing letting a great car down. Angelo
  14. For the record, I bought a standard 6.5x16" steel rim and fitted a 215/60/16 tyre as on the base model cars. Fits in the spare wheel recess well and does lift the carpet up ever so slightly (non-variable boot floor) but I'd rather have a decent spare as was intending to go aboard in it. I was go to line the boot floor with say a layer of 10mm thick insulation around the spare wheel to lift the carpet up slightly but I got a boot liner and never bothered me. Angelo
  15. Recently been having a temperamental passenger door lock, when unlocking car by remote or touch, passenger door would not open from outside until it was opened once from inside. lock and unlock it and it does it again. Decided to investigate and managed to remove the door panel (with a bit of fuss), and lo and behold a fiddle with the connectors and seems to work fine now. I'll leave it off for a bit to see if it behaves. I have read that on some Skoda models, lock issues are common. Anyone else or just me ? Angelo
  16. Same here following recommendations on this forum, I just recently fitted my own to my car and are such an improvement. Angelo
  17. Following on from this great forum, after buying my 2016 TDI sportline estate and found the ride to be dreadful, I recently replaced my own shocks with Koni Special Active dampers bought from here; Performance Car Parts - K&N, Bilstein, BC Racing, Eibach Exhausts and Suspension and more (dcperformance.co.uk) again as documented on this forum. The difference is amazing and DC Performance service was great. Made my Superb much more pleasant to drive Angelo
  18. I have ordered the Koni's shock for my Sportline estate, not in stock in the UK so may be a while before I get them....
  19. Hi, interested in this upgrade, can someone in the UK confirm the H&R part number and a supplier please. Thanks in advance.
  20. My old A6 is a Sport and rides great. Yep I've had my Superb bottom out the bump stops over speed humps which is pretty shocking. Would be useful to know the spring rates and dampers on the same MQB-B platform cars, even just to know how they varied. Not sure this info is going to be out there. Agree with you the best option is aftermarket.
  21. Glad it's not just me, exactly the same comments on all counts ! The ride on my other car an 18 year old A6 with 233k miles and original suspension is heaps better.
  22. Do you have one for a 2016 model, seems to be an illusive one and I cannot find it anywhere. Thanks.
