Headlight washer
U need to remove the front bumper in order to fix or replace the headlight washer. No need to touch or remove the headlight. A while ago I made a how to guide on removing the bumper. Essentially it's not a simple job, but doable. Removing Front Bumper.pdf

Lowering
The Superb's body by design is nose down, rear up, liftback & wagon. Ur not exaggerating it with the Eibach springs....if any, it will b minimal. Mine sits evenly (based on the wheel arches) front & rear on the Eibach Pro-kit springs.

Lowering
for the Superb 3V3 Hatchback 1.4 TSi, the Eibach Springs will lower it approx. 30-35mm. Part Number is E10-85-042-01-22 alternative is H&R springs. Part Number is 28784-1 for Superb 3V3 Hatchback 1.4 TSi. if u have DCC shocks, it will lower by 20-25mm.

Heated windscreen - Can you see the wires?
Superb's with a heated windscreen have a distinct purple reflective haze/tint. the tint also gives it heat reflective properties. can't miss it. if it has a green-ish tinge, its non-heated. Part No. for the heated windscreen is 3V0845011AE NVB

Res Delete on 2018 Skoda Superb (2.0 Petrol)
@Cactusjack - mine is a FWD Superb, hence the centre resonator setup is different to the AWD version, which u seem to have. Having said that, I've heard of some of the 280 owners who got the Forementor resonator saying that they had to get the pipe lengthened a bit. This is mine.....

update infotainment/map
@kampang - u need to have 2 folders and 1 file in the root of the Sd-card :- Mib1 (folder) Mib2 (folder) metainfo (file) Don't go copying stuff from individual folders. Don't change anything.

update infotainment/map
Did u unzip the downloaded maps to the root folder of the sd-card? If it's not done properly, the MIB won't see the update.

Removing front bumper with Maxton splitter fitted
if fitted incorrectly, yes the front splitter will cover up 4x torx screws, two on each side, that connects the front bumper to the front of the wheel arch liner. this will impact the ability to remove the bumper. the front wheel arch liner goes all the way forward to inside the front bumper. when i fitted my Rieger front splitter, i had to trim the splitter, slightly, to ensure those particular torx screws could still b inserted and removed. i don't have a picture of how it looks, but u can see on the pic below of the wheel arch liner, showing the 2x holes up front which lines up with the front bumper. as for the springs - they're just having a whinge. they need to grow up, or u need to find urself a new dealership.

DQ381 software update
Generally u don't/can't update the DSG software version urself. Why r u after the latest? U can however get a DSG tune, from a reputable company, which many of us done, and happy with the results.

Converting the Superb 3 Pre FL to the Superb 3 FL Matrix Light any experience?
Nice write-up and explanation there @marv3000 👍 I took the easy path, back in 2019, and did the SLA retrofit. The SLA high beam masking and bending trickery does an excellent job.

The Superb III Picture thread
The front has more room than the rear. The rear is less accommodating. That's where u'll get most scrubbing, especially against the bit where the rear bumper joins with the wheel arch. Try them on the rear and see how it is.

280/272 estate buying advice
DCC sits 10mm lower than standard suspension. Sportline sits 15mm lower than standard. We haven't been able to determine if there is a difference between Sportline DCC shocks and non-Sportline DCC shocks.

How-to Guide to Upgrade MIB2 to MIB2.5
@Codrut20171 - the G11 to G13 AIO instructions on the MIB GitHub state to use the specified Gracenote payload. I'm not sure how or if it's possible to load that on its own. Sure thing - happy for u to send me a PM or post in this discussion.
