OCU Fault codes - How do I fix this?
"B2000 49 [00001001] - Internal Electronic Failure [Control unit defective Analog circuitry]" based on this fault code, i would assume ur telematics control unit is no good at all and will need to b replaced entirely.

Steering wheel upgrade
I did the round to flat-bottomed steering wheel upgrade 3 yrs ago. I can read about it in my build thread here. If u get a steering wheel with the same specs, then u won't need any additional bits, or coding. Be careful not to get a facelift flat-bottomed steering wheel as the airbag design is different to that used in the pre-facelift, which ur car is. In other words, if u did, u won't b able to re-use ur original airbag with ur flat-bottomed steering wheel.

Eibach rear arb
Oh my......I'm so sorry. Thanks for pointing that out. Yes, I incorrectly referenced the front sway bar part numbers!!! Doh! Should've been:- AWD rear sway bar (25.4 mm) is 8778. FWD rear sway bar (25.4 mm) is 7759

Random question - What's this?
That is not a Superb......

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Don't have the car keys within 3m at the rear of the car. Leave the keys anywhere inside the car, or more than 3m away, or in a room inside the house, far away. It won't eat u then, nor try to decapitate u.

Eibach rear arb
No issues whatsoever with comfort, alignment or tyre wear. My current tyres, Continental MaxContact6 have done 50k+ kms, and r only now due for replacement soon.

Eibach rear arb
I've got the Hardrace Pro rear sway bar (7758) on my FWD Superb. It's 28 mm thick. Made a very noticeable improvement They make an AWD version too, which is 30 mm thick - 8781. It is the same for Superb, Kodiaq, Golf R and Passat 4Motion.

Blind Spot Monitor Question
I retrofitted the wing mirror caps with the side lights, so now I have the best of both worlds 😁

What bulbs are fitted to the S3 & upgraded bulb recommendations
A long time ago I changed the factory D3S bulbs for Phillips XtremeVision Gen2 D3S bulbs. They were a nice improvement. This was footage of it... I recently replaced them with LED D3S, made by J.W.Speaker. Massive improvement. This is with the LED bulbs...

U need to connect the Negative end of the battery charger to the car chassis, not the negative terminal!!

Wanna try VCDS
+1 Genuine VCDS is not cheap at all. 70 euro for unlimited vcds!!! 30 pound for the dongle and 5 pound for the app!!! surely can't b genuine.

wipers turning on without being asked to
Have u scanned the car for codes yet? If the wiper stalk is in the off position - there should b no reason at all for it to wipe, regardless of any sensors.

Wanna try VCDS
@SuperB-LK - I switched from VCDS to OBDEleven a long time ago. My ultimate preference is still VCDS, but u can do everything with OBDEleven Pro version. I made the switch cause with VCDS I only had the 3 car license, which was no good for me as I wanted to help others with coding. No such restrictions with OBDEleven. Plus it's way cheaper, and no laptop or cable required. I don't/never use the One Click apps cause u never know wat coding changes is done behind the scenes, with some causing undesired side effects. With OBDEleven Pro version, I can do adaptations and long coding changes, just as I would've with VCDS. Mine was a one off lifetime payment, which they don't offer anymore. Now u have to pay a yearly subscription for Pro or Ultimate.

Wanna try VCDS
a number of electrics/modules changed with the mk3 facelift, including the introduction of SFD. hence a lot of coding for the pre-facelift mk3 will not work on the facelift mk3. the mk4 is an entirely different eco-system, and will b remotely similar electrics/modules wise.

Wind / Rain Deflectors - long term feedback wanted
Absolutely no side effects on the window itself or it's operation. Likewise, no impact on the door frame. Mine has been on my Superb for almost 7 yrs now. It's a much better solution than the versions that stick on the door frame itself. The heko ones r a much cleaner look, but also leaves no marks at all if u have to remove it.

2 weeks in - New owner observations and questions
with the facelift model, the behaviour changed, yes. tis a shame the setting (duration) can't b changed on the pre-facelift models. no one has been able to crack it yet, even looking in the associated parameter file(s).

When ACC is on, Coasting is disabled. That's normal. With Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) active, ACC will only resume (car moves) automatically within 3 secs, i.e. if stopped for less than 3 secs. After that, u need to tap the accelerator or pull the cruise stalk for the car to move/resume. With the 19" wheels, many Superb owners have switched to 245/40R19 tyres. Thicker sidewall and wider tyre results in more comfort. It's also cheaper and more readily available.

Valve exhaust retrofit
@SaabDude - wat r u looking to gain with a valved exhaust? a number of 280 owners with valved exhaust have coded the valves to remain open because it is too quiet when closed. even with it open, it is not as loud as expected. the exhaust setup (resonator and mufflers) on a 280 is very different to that on the 272 thanks to the GPF requirements. if u do go down that path, then u need to consider:- if the 272 has the wiring loom for valves? if the 272 has the long coding for exhaust valves (01 Engine -> Byte 09 Bit 2)?

L&K rear coil springs...
L&K is not lower than standard. L&K with DCC is lower than standard. As @MartiniB already mentioned a few posts earlier, it depends on wat shocks u have and if u Sportline. U have confirmed earlier that u do have DCC, so urs will b lower than standard height setup. L&K is a trim level, and depending on market (country), it will either come with DCC as factory fit or factory option.

Gandalf's Evolution
@netman82 - 1440 is the latest for the MIB2.5 G13. As for the undertray, it replaces the existing short one. The longer undertray uses the same front and side mounting points & screws. However the rear section requires 3x bolts (M8x20) to secure to the sub-frame. Part No. is WHT000729A.

Gandalf's Evolution
@netman82 - part number for the full length engine under tray is 5Q0825236N. with regards to the G11 to G13 conversion - basically this allows u to upgrade ur existing MIB2 unit to an MIB2.5 unit. Columbus MIB2 unit paired with 8" Display screen (with buttons) Columbus MIB2.5 unit paired with 9.2" Display screen (no buttons) previously u had to change both the glovebox headunit AND the display screen. with this conversion, u only need to change the screen. the existing MIB2 glovebox unit becomes a MIB2.5 unit. benefits (that i remember) are:- bigger display area - 9.2" vs 8" much much higher screen resolution slightly different menus 3-way home split screen (allows u to simultaneously display multiple elements on the home screen, for e.g. navigation, car info, media) improved response times this AIO conversion included the Performance Monitor, as well as Easy Entry Access (Seats)
