The 280PS Thread
@leolito - do not mix G12 and G13! They have very different coolant properties and very different service intervals for flushing. G13 is dependent on the Silka to keep it in "good" condition, allowing it to last longer between flushes. G12 does not dependent on silka, however requires more frequent flushing.

Wind deflectors
+1 for getting in-channel window deflectors. They blend in, and doesn't effect the window operating. I've been using Heko ones for almost 8 yrs now on my Superb.

VCDS options on Superb III.FL
Sorry no, I don't have any further info apart from the above that it is available on OBDEleven as an App. I have no interest in such a lighting effect. U'll have to Google search Urban Joke effect, maybe u'll find instructions on how to enable it.

VCDS options on Superb III.FL
Agreed - I was simply pointing out an option. I personally would never use any of the OBDEleven Apps. I only make changes via Long Coding or Adaptations.

Trav's 2021 Superb 280 L&K
That was one of the first things I did many many years ago - opened up the blocked second air intake opening behind the grille. Many people would think opening up blocked bit on the top of the air intake was sufficient, or getting an aftermarket air-intake with both inlets open would do the trick - but both would yield no gains on the Superb unless the blocked air intake behind the grille was opened up.

How to remove acc radar cover
No, they r not rivets. They're plastic caps that push out and reusable. Just pull it out carefully. The radar itself is fixed in place by "calibrated" screws. i.e. mess with those, or the bracket and ur ACC will b out of whack and require recalibration!!

Lowering
I hope u didn't put the E85 springs in ur wagon. If u did, that would explain the lower rear end drop. E85 is for the liftback/sedan (3V3), which has a much less heavier backend. E79 is for the wagon (3V5). Hence if u put sedan springs at the rear, it will drop more.

Converting the Superb 3 Pre FL to the Superb 3 FL Matrix Light any experience?
I don't understand - it either is or it isn't. Do u have a pic of the front of ur car? That will settle any doubts. If u indeed have a pre-facelift, then the part number on top of ur headlight will definitely indicate if it's SLA version or not. Version A is non-SLA. Version B is SLA.

Converting the Superb 3 Pre FL to the Superb 3 FL Matrix Light any experience?
sounds like u a facelift Superb. eyelashes = smart light assist is specific to the pre-facelift Superb that uses Bi-xenon headlights with special rollers for masking/shaping the high beam. the facelift Superb has a completely different headlight setup, using LED and matrix LEDs for masking/shaping the high beam. the eyelashes on the facelift only operate on when the low beams r on. i don't know if it is tied specifically to the matrix headlight version. the same applies to the Octavia and Kodiaq variants with LED headlights.

Converting the Superb 3 Pre FL to the Superb 3 FL Matrix Light any experience?
visually - they look nicer, especially in DRL mode. eyelashes also mean u have "Smart Light Assist" headlights, i.e. it can do matrix like high beam shaping/masking. ŠKODA Smart Light Assist

Major Service
@Exkiwi - the 220 (162TSi) does not require a belt change. yes they (VAG workshop) only uses genuine oils/fluids, according to the needs of the DQ250, which the 162TSi uses. @ThatBlueSuperb - i had my brake pads and discs replaced (with aftermarket dba) last year, so i don't need a brake fluid flush. i have an aftermarket air-intake (Racingline r600), so they don't need to replace the air filter. i had my spark plugs changed at the 105k service, so no need to change them now.

Front Strut Brace?
that version is "intrusive" as it sits across the top of and blocks the battery, brake fluid, turbo inlet pipe, and turbo inlet elbow!! the HP version on the other hand is inside the plastic cowl, tucked nicely out of the way.
