Generally u don't/can't update the DSG software version urself. Why r u after the latest? U can however get a DSG tune, from a reputable company, which many of us done, and happy with the results.

@marv3000 - the facelift frontend certainly transforms the car nicely. Well done on the conversion. Did u have to change the bonnet too?

U need to perform the power windows recalibration. Google it - there r plenty of videos and how-tos of how to perform it.

Nice write-up and explanation there @marv3000 👍 I took the easy path, back in 2019, and did the SLA retrofit. The SLA high beam masking and bending trickery does an excellent job.

The front has more room than the rear. The rear is less accommodating. That's where u'll get most scrubbing, especially against the bit where the rear bumper joins with the wheel arch. Try them on the rear and see how it is.

@kinsey1 - u can buy the "strip" parts on its own, not cheap though. Exterior equipment - skodaautoteile.de Onlineshop there r different ones for Liftback vs Wagon.

@Meikkis - 9" wide, with 255 tyres and lowered - u will definitely b pushing ur luck there.

DCC sits 10mm lower than standard suspension. Sportline sits 15mm lower than standard. We haven't been able to determine if there is a difference between Sportline DCC shocks and non-Sportline DCC shocks.

@Codrut20171 - the G11 to G13 AIO instructions on the MIB GitHub state to use the specified Gracenote payload. I'm not sure how or if it's possible to load that on its own. Sure thing - happy for u to send me a PM or post in this discussion.

@LinoTheFox - as @travs indicated - urs is a mk3 pre-facelift Superb. MY15 to MY19. mk3 Facelift arrived MY20. mk4 Superb has just been released. MY15 to MY17 can't do easy entry. U need MY18 onwards for that.

My DQ250 box is happily handling 533Nm at the wheels torque 😁 I have a APR Hi-torque Stg 1 ECU tune and DSG tune, on my FWD 220 Superb. Tis been 2.5 yrs now with the tunes. The DQ250 can handle up to 600Nm with a DSG tune and a sensible setup. Beyond 600Nm, hardware such as clutch packs need to b changed.....

whilst the L&K is a nice comfortable version, i would avoid getting the MY16 version. MY15 & MY16 were the "first version/batch" of mk3 Superb. MY17 saw improved electronics (various things), adding more features. MY18 onwards they introduced nice things such as digital cluster and the larger infotainment. MY19 saw the introduction of the 272 (GPF) and DQ381, in some markets. MY20 onwards the facelift version came out, sporting the troublesome MIB3 units, and cost cutting measure across various different things.

@semiroundel - there r two types of tail lights, Low version and High version. Depending on the model, u'll get either low or high taillights. It's not broken, nor a warranty thing. Low version is simpler, and the inner tail light (on the boot) is not wired up, hence doesn't light up. High version is usually full LED and both outer and inner lights r fully functional.

Maybe it was the 2.0TDi not 2.0TSi...... That would explain the sluggish feeling.

Digital Dash (Virtual Cluster) was introduced from MY18 onwards, along with the MIB2.5 unit with the 9.2" screen. Up until then it was the analog dash, MIB2 units with the 8" screen. MIB3 came along from MY20 onwards. Same digital dash. As for the 2019 2.0TSi feeling as slow as the 1.5TSi - that's not right. Was it the 190, 220 or 280? I test drove both the FWD 220 and AWD 280, before I ended up getting the 220. With a smaller turbo than 280, the 220 is a lot more responsive and peppy driving around. Apart from off the line, it is in every way just as quick or even slightly quicker than the AWD 280.

The Canton setup in the Superb is different to the Canton setup in the Octavia and Kodiaq. Those two share the same speakers and DSP amplifier. The Superb on the otherhand has more speakers and a more powerful amplifier. See images below. This is the pre-facelift Superb by the way. I have no idea about the downgraded Canton system in the facelift Superb. They probably using the same setup as the Octavia/Kodiaq now.

@Bap33 - good point. A number of the facelift Superbs missed out, during or post COVID, on things like Lane Assist, Matrix Headlights, Canton system, Blind Spot Monitoring, Travel Assist etc etc.

It's very easy to install - simply slides into the wheel arch lining groves.

Yeah, ur definitely missing it. It's a front "spoiler". It's part of the front wheel arch liner - Item #13 in the image below. Part number is 3V0 853 887 B Looks like urs went missing when the front wheel arch liner, or front bumper, was removed.
