  1. Wow.....is the front mudflap wireless or something?!?! For the price it must come with built-in washer jets to clean the wheels as it rotates!!!
  2. Initial MIB3 units only did wireless CarPlay, and not wireless Android Auto. Not sure if a software patch/firmware will rectify that?
  3. Wat!?!? My Vehicle Specific Information was an 8-page report of every single build component, specific to my car. Hundreds of lines of PR Codes, literally!!
  4. It's MY20 btw, not 2019. It can b done, both front and back, if u've got deep pockets and re-do wiring harnesses. With regards to the rear - do a search in this forum, u'll find a discussion I started about retrofitting facelift tail lights. p.s. I didn't end up doing it. Doing the rear involves:- - new facelift tail light clusters (both inner and outer) - new facelift RVC - new facelift boot button - new chrome/black bar trim - modified wiring harness - VCDS coding - VCP/ODIS parameterization?? Doing the front involves:- - new facelift headlights - new facelift foglights - new facelift bumper - new facelift grille - modified wiring harness - VCDS coding - VCP/ODIS parameterization
  5. Skoda erWin will give u every PR code specific to ur car, based on ur VIN. Meanwhile, PR Codes on the 220:- - 1KU Disc brakes in rear - 1ZA Disc brakes in front
  6. always always always 98ron. 95ron if ur out of fuel and there is no other option. put in 5L or so, so u can get to a servo with 98 ron. 91ron - never. i'd rather call roadside service to bring me some fuel or get my car towed on the back of a truck.
  7. @BPL - looks like u don't have DCC. DCC is not standard across the Superb range. It's standard on the L&K models, and its available as an option in other markets, and some trims (possibly). more on DCC here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpV-YChUivY When u press the Driving mode button (centre console), it will also show there if u have DCC or not. "DCC/Driving Mode"
  8. I've got a 162 TSi (220) and these r my figures. Car has a Stg 1 APR ECU tune, and larger 245/40/19 tyres. I always use 98 RON. According to my Fuelio app, I'm doing 8.49L/100. I'm pretty happy with the economy, consistently getting 700 - 900 kms a tank. Also considering how hard I drive it, considering the bigger tyres, and considering the size of the Superb. 👍🏽 Long Term at 7.8L/100:- Freeway driving with ACC set at 110 km/h:- Windy, twisty, up/down hill roads plus freeway driving, with AC set to Auto (22 deg):-
  9. If u have Bi-xenons, u can switch the driving side in the menu, and the light will change accordingly. If u also have a Columbus head unit, it will do this automatically based on ur GPS location - no need to do anything.
  10. U need VCDS or OBDEleven to make the code change, below, to enable it.
  11. Lol 😂 I'm pretty sure the brake disc size (340mm) on the 280 Superb is the same as that on the mk3 vRS!! Both front & rear discs r vented on the Superb. The 220 Superb has the smaller 312mm disc size, with only the front vented.
  12. Yes the Superb is a big car that has wallowy suspension. U can fix it by doing a few of these things to address it:- - firmer springs, lowered or not. - aftermarket shocks - aftermarket rear swaybar - DCC recalibration
  13. likely then it will already b parameterized, so yes, no need for the VCP/ODIS steps. the only downside with the pre-loaded dataset is that tire sizes pre-loaded may not necessarily match ur car tire size. so select a tire set that matches the tire pressures u want to use. that's wat really matters - the target pressure readings for comfort, standard & fully loaded. the tire size description is not important for the TPMS function.
  14. @RT_SGP - the TPMS module i bought came pre-loaded with a parameter file, so i don't have step by step instructions for it - sorry. The RDKS generator (link here) is used to create the ZDC parameter file, which is used to load into module #65-tire pressure, via VCP or ODIS. u can have multiple tire sets in ur parameter file, or have just the one set of tire pressures.
  15. @RT_SGP - VCDS instructions below:- Enable Direct TPMS from Gateway Controller 19 – CAN Gateway Security Access - enter 20103 Click “Installation List” Activate “65 - Tire Pressure” Click “Save Coding” Adaptations Go to: Tire Pressure Monitoring 1 Change from "Not Coded" to "Coded" Click “Do It!” Disable Indirect TPMS Controller 17 – Instruments Coding Select Long Coding Helper Byte 4, Bit 0 Deactivate (Untick) “Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Yes” Byte 3, Bit 7 Activate (Tick) “Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS),Yes)” Byte 11, Bit 2 Activate (Tick) “Tire pressure monitoring: BAP distance,Yes” Modify ABS coding Controller 03 – ABS Coding Select Long Coding Helper Byte 27:- Bit 4 – Dectivate/Untick Bit 5 – Dectivate/Untick Bit 6 – Dectivate/Untick X111XXX -> X000XXXX Byte 28:- Bit 7 – Dectivate/Untick 1XXXXXXX -> 0XXXXXXX Modify Information Electrics Controller 5F – Information Electronik Security Access - enter 20103 Adaptations Go to: Car_function_list_BAP_Gen2-tire_pressure_system_0x07_msg_bus Change from "Suspension Data bus" to "Extended data bus" Click “Do It!”
  16. @TCL - this great how-to remove the front door card video was created by @digifish https://youtu.be/xVOrDNmqswk below is a pic from the workshop manual of the tweeter grille - #5 tis not very clear, nor detailed.
  17. Sadly it's the only way. U can't remove the tweeter speaker grill with the door card on. It needs to come off, so u can remove the bolt holding the wing mirror - #4 in the pic below.
  18. U have DCC if u have 5 driving modes - Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport and Individual. In Individual, it will show u a DCC setting.
  19. I'll post up the exact VCDS/OBDEleven coding steps shortly. I'll also post up the link that allows u to create the RDX parameter file, to b loaded via VCP/ODIS.
  20. True, but it's not integrated into the car, like OEM 😉
  21. U can find the part numbers in the 1st page of my build thread. Link in my signature. Yes, u definitely need to have the rear bumper off. Plus u need to run a power wire to a permanent 12v power source in the fuse box under the glovebox, hence u'll need sill panels off, boot trim panels off, so u can route the wire to the front.
  22. ....which is why I have activated "scandanavian lights" mode - the rear lights r on all the time, like the front DRLs.
  23. That's the whole point of DRL - Daytime Running Light.....so u r visible at all times, even if u r under a bridge or shadow for a sec or two - u r still visible!!!
  24. Direct TPMS is not standard across any of the Skoda models. In most markets, it's not even offered as an option for ur Skoda. Russia offers it as an option on Kodiaqs there. Indirect TPMS is the normal. Its known as the Tyre Pressure Loss Indicator (TPLI). TPLI uses the wheel ABS sensors to compare the rotational speed of each wheel to determine differences in tyre pressures. There is no extra hardware or sensors required, hence it's standard. TPMS has extra hardware - 4x pressure sensors in each rim and a receiver module. This gives u the actual tyre pressure readings. The Audi version goes one step further and gives u tyre temperatures in addition! I retrofitted the Direct TPMS version in my Superb last year. I'm happy with it. Indirect TPMS..... Comparison.... Direct TPMS...
  25. not my car, but was on a cruise with it recently. nice shine in the sun.
