  1. I'd highly recommend the Rear ARB and TCU tune. lightweight 19x8.5 wheels will also b good, and save weight.
  2. Eibach springs and a rear swaybar r far from expensive!!!! U want to spend 10-20 times the amount, u can go the full hog n buy all new aftermarket shocks + springs.
  3. I have an MY17 220 as well, with DCC suspension. Factory setup was wallowy n bouncing too much for my liking. I've since put Eibach lowering (20mm) springs, thicker rear swaybar and did the DCC recalibration. The car rides much much better. It's the perfect combo.....for me. No longer wallowy. Doesn't bounce over speed humps or rough roads. Cornering is flat. Comfort hasn't been compromised
  4. Washed Gandalf after a few months. Now that it's all shiny, time to get the bikes on and get it dirty again!! 🤣 🤣
  5. at this stage no. VW Australia has no interest in putting the required infrastructure in Oz, in order for Skoda Connect to work. its been many many many years now. doubt they'll change until we see full electric Skoda vehicles here in Oz. till then, we gotta put up with the sh1tty useless MySkoda app.
  6. Sounds like u need to have the error codes cleared with VCDS or OBDEleven. When u drive around with the spare for too long, the ABS sensors get upset, and ends up throwing a monitoring fault. Doesn't matter how many times u reset it using the console/menu.
  7. Check ur PR codes...... 0M4 = Fuel Tank (66 L, Standard) 1Z2 = Increase in initial standard fuel filling (plus 10L... or 15L? not sure exactly) If u got both PR codes, then u have the larger fuel tank.
  8. On my old Android phone, I was able to use Mirrorlink to show YouTube on the infotainment screen. Watching a video on YouTube..... Viewing my browser..... Newer phones don't seem to work with Columbus's Mirrorlink now. I haven't bothered with it for 3 yrs now.
  9. +1 The LEDs require big heat sinks and/or cooling fans. @Gabrielem - Get better D3S bulbs instead - u'll get far better results. I've got Phillips xTremeVision Gen 2s - they're brilliant in all conditions. https://youtu.be/v3BgUfsupkM
  10. I've got hubcentric spacers on mine - 15mm on the front and 12mm on the rear. Been 4 plus years.
  11. i put the start-stop memory module a while ago now. using trim tools, i simply removed the switch module by prying from the top part upwards (see arrow n picture below), and the pry from the back to lift the switch module up. the start-stop memory module is brilliant!!
  12. No, it is not normal for it to show the tyre monitoring screen on the infotainment unit, everytime u start up. that screen is behind the Vehicle Status screen, which is the first thing u'll see, if there is an issue.
  13. Noticeable improvement - yes. Increased vibrations - no. Wheel hoping eliminated - mostly. Gear shifts crisper - yes. Harshness - no.
  14. Pretty sure the Superb's PLA 3.0 doesn't have any "memory" function or element to it.
  15. If u've got the 220, then u need version 2. I've had it on mine for a year now. Really great, and highly recommended.
  16. @sergiulupsac- in addition to the headlights, did u also buy a facelift bumper? With facelift fog lights and cornering lights? Wat year is ur pre-facelift? Wat headlights did it come with originally? I'm not surprised nothing works. It's not plug n play. There has been significant changes to the headlights and taillights with facelift. There will b a need to modify existing wiring looms and or modules.
  17. looks very nice @dohboy78 the white & black mixes well on urs. l'm very pleased with my Rieger side skirts too.....and the Rieger front lip. works nicely with the Superb, in a subtle way.
  18. if i wanted to b lazy, i would've told him/her to use the "Search" function in this Topic.
  19. Go back one page in this thread - u'll get exactly wat ur after.
  20. 100% this - make sure u remove the A-pillar trim and tuck the cable with the existing wiring loom behind the airbag, like my pic below. The easy way is to tuck behind the A-pillar trim, but then the curtain airbag will fail to deploy properly. Do it properly, even though it's more of an effort, and pain.
  21. if u want the dashcam powered only while the car is on, then u should power it from the fuse panel by piggy backing of a switched fuse location. i used the rear wiper #47 (rear window wiper) to power my dashcam. this location is not permanently on. with regards to using a usb dual port - i highly doubt android auto will not continue to work through an add-on usb port.
  22. Panel should look like this if u have rear seat heating.....
  23. That's different. On the pre-facelift, the little lane assist icon turns green when the lane guidance is active. The cluster shows a solid orange line - as per the image below. When the camera pics up only one side of the lane markings, the cluster shows a white colour on the side it can't detect, while the other one remains orange, and the icon remains green. When none of the lane markings can b determined - the cluster shows solid white for sides and the icon turns amber. Useful for when the cluster is not set to the Vehicle Assist screen.
  24. MK3 Octavia Liftback shown, by default, on non Virtual Cockpit clusters.....
