  1. The Power Magic Pro allows the dashcam to run after the car is switched off, i.e. parking mode. Any bumps and motion will b detected and recorded. I already had a Blackvue Dashcam installed before, but it was setup to only work while the car is on. Now my dashcam can run in parking mode, when the car is off. With the module, u can preset it to stop parking mode based on time (hrs) and/or voltage cutoff (V). Or U can manually switch it off so it only works while the car is on.
  2. Finally after months of sitting on the shelf, I added the Power Magic Pro to my existing Blackvue dashcam setup. Install was straight forward but I wish they included instructions to "start the car" cause I thought the unit was faulty when I turned the ignition on to ACC only and nothing happened!!! I initially removed it and was about to return it, but after some further research/investigation - I saw the car needed to b started for the unit to spring into action for the first time. The glovebox conveniently had a pre-drilled small hole, from factory, against the felt backing, for me to route the wires through. Allows for the Power Magic Pro to b out of sight, yet easily accessible
  3. @GregorSamsa- looks good. Now u need to get the matching aluminium footrest.
  4. Yes it is. The boot torch that comes with the car is magnetic, and I've used it to stick to almost every part of the car body panels, except the bumpers.
  5. TJA can't b "coded". If certain conditions r met, then TJA will become active automatically. For TJA to work, u need the following conditions met:- - ACC active/on. - Active Lane Guidance (ALG) active. Not just Lane Assist. Both Lane Assist and ALG needs to be turned on. U'll know it's working when u drop below 65 km/h and ALG continues to stay active all the way down to a stop.
  6. Exactly. Even more reason why it's pointless to move the transmission to Neutral in an iV.
  7. Because the clutch in a DSG is disengaged when ur stationary - hence its pointless moving it to Neutral.
  8. Don't put ur DSG in Neutral while stopped at the lights - u'll do more damage than good.
  9. @The1effect - i was wondering why the underbelly of ur car looked very different to mine, including the wheel-arch liner where it meets the underbelly.......then i noticed ur profile says u have a 2016 Octavia SE L. sorry - i don't know where the axle point r on the mk3 Octavia. u should ask the question in the mk3 Octavia forum. this is how it looks, close-up, on the mk3 Superb......
  10. I contemplated getting the silver finish, but ended up going with the black ABS finish as it matches the Sportline diffusor. It's a shame ur was slightly damaged and u didn't have any luck with Kopacek. They've been great to me with all my shipments and enquiries.
  11. In some markets/countries, DCC is an option for Sportline models too. Hence u can have a Sportline with or without DCC.
  12. Thanks Mine has DCC suspension. DCC is already 10mm lower than standard suspension - hence the drop is only 20mm. The drop is 30-35mm if u have standard suspension. I don't know how much it would drop for a Sportline with DCC, or a Sportline without DCC. Yes, those r the factory 19" Trinity/Phoenix rims, wearing 245/40R19 tyres. I have 15mm hubcentric spacers at the front and 10mm at the rear.
  13. No, I have a non-Sportline.
  14. I didn't recalibrate after getting mine lowered 20mm with the Eibach ProKit. The A5 Camera is still good. The ACC radar is good. The BSM radars r good. The PDC sensors r slightly more trigger happy now with high/tall kerbs. Headlight aim had to b raised a smidge. If the drop was 35mm or more - then doing the expensive ADAS calibration would b highly recommended.
  15. Yes, that is correct for a Hatch/Sedan/Liftback.
  16. Predictive ACC (pACC) requires a specific radar plus A5 to work. It relies on the A5 camera to read the speed limit road sign, and then adjusts the car's speed accordingly.
  17. No, a firmware update for the Columbus will not enable functions like TSR or High Beam Assist. U need to enable that via OBDEleven or VCDS tools. Do a search - plenty of posts with instructions/steps.
  18. R u referring to the inner triangle light cluster on the boot lid? If so, these r the part numbers, depending on the outer version (LED High or LED Basic) u have:- - 3V5 945 307 A/B/C/D (Sedan Tail light Left Inner) - 3V5 945 308 A/B/C/D (Sedan Tail light Right Inner) - 3V9 945 307 A/B/C/D (Estate Tail light Left Inner) - 3V9 945 308 A/B/C/D (Estate Tail light Right Inner) I've never replaced or removed these inner light clusters, so I'm not sure wat is involved. I've removed the outer taillights plenty of times, and they're easy to do.
  19. It's misleading, yes, but the part number (3V5 945 207) is correct for a pre-facelift, and have a look at the "Suitable Cars" list. The seller has incorrectly assumed the indicator and reverse lights r LED. Do a Google search on that part number.....
  20. That link is not a facelift taillight - it's the pre-facelift taillight found from MY15 to MY19. It's the correct taillight for @pentaxian. The LED refers to the light strip that goes around the outer edge - see pic below. The reverse and indicator globes r normal halogen bulbs.
  21. Eibach ProKits on my 220, with factory DCC. Ride height is perfect - 20mm drop. Springs r matched perfectly to the factory DCC shocks. Ride is way way way better now.
  22. U need to have the Lane Assist radars installed, which I don't see in the scan above. The OP's scan shows 3C as empty. Mine looks like this:- ---------------------------------------------- 3C Lane Change Assistant Right System description: HRE_Master Software number: 5Q0907686B Software version: 0071 Hardware number: 5Q0907686B Hardware version: H12 Serial number: 0433918774 ODX name: EV_HREntryHella ODX version: 001028 Long coding: 02011203 Trouble codes: No trouble codes found ----------------------------------------------
  23. Mine has "1JP = Rear shock absorption" ....and "G04 = Shock absorption in front" It has factory DCC, non Sportline.
  24. Looks brilliant and nicely done. No one would think anything different.
  25. ACC (front radar) and Lane Assist (rear radars) r linked. Switching the ACC to fully off on the cruise control stalk will give u a message saying that Lane Assist is also turned off. But it's not an error or warning. The message will flash in MFD for 2 secs or so, n then disappear. It becomes available again when u pull the cruise control stalk forward. The road signs in restricted mode message is normal for those that activated TSR in a region which doesn't have the correct map data. It's a warning, but it continues to work for the most part. Light Assist is not related to any of the above.
