  1. Either ur doing something wrong, or there is something mechanically wrong with ur headlights. When parked 7m or so from a wall, the changes r obvious, even with small quarter turns with the Allen key. Make sure ur not adjusting the horizontal (side to side) adjusters.
  2. i've been putting 36-38 psi (cold) in my factory 19s for years n years. my tires generally last 50k to 60k kms the pressures do go up when the tires warm up.....
  3. indeed - same same. its also found in the Scala. the newer MY20 and MY21 models also feature the MIB3 units, potentially, depending on market/spec.
  4. Yes there was a facelift (mk3.5) Superb released. Exterior changes to the front (bumper & headlights) and rear (taillights). Interior changes included new bits n bobs here n there, like new steering wheel, USB-C and MIB3.
  5. Doesn't matter wat sized tyres - a puncture is a puncture. Low profile tyres r however more susceptible to rim damage. As I mentioned before....the 19" with the DCC suspension rides so much more comfortable and quieter than the 18" RS wheels I had on my mk2 MY11 Octavia RS. It rode on 225/40R18 tyres. The right tyre & wheel package, combined with the right suspension - makes a significant difference.
  6. End of the day - facelift or not, no matter the trim level, it is not something that can b simply enabled via VCDS or OBDEleven. It's different part number. It's a different cluster/unit. There r two versions - Basic and High. This applies to both Inner (on the boot) and Outer units. U need the High version to have the strip of the Inner light up.
  7. just b mindful the tail lights shown in both those pics above r the pre-facelift versions. a 2021 has different tail lights, like this.....
  8. hahaha....i was thinking the same too, but i'm sure @Watermead got his wires crossed thinking 206 and 280 - and ended up becoming 208!! 😂
  9. @Watermead- u will b able to see the PR code on the rotor hub itself, and the part number too. I have the 162 TSi, so its marked 1KU (rear) and 1ZA (front). Urs will b different given u have the 206 TSi. As @Winomentioned - u can go to Erwin Skoda n download a full build sheet of ur car specifically. I've done it myself. Paid for an hour subscription and got everything I need, including workshop manuals.
  10. yes, u can upgrade the MIB2 unit (8" touchscreen with buttons) to the MIB2.5 unit (9.2" touchscreen without buttons). u'll need to upgrade the glovebox unit along with the screen unit. they're a pair, and go together hand-in-hand. i haven't done it myself, but plenty on this forum have, including some who also did the Virtual Cluster/dash too.
  11. it amazes me how these mobs get away with anything. Service Centre - no errors were found during the scan. everything is good. MOT centre - the lights turn on and shines in front of the car without dazzling oncoming drivers. everything is good. "there is nothing wrong with your car sir" esshhh!!! at least they didn't charge u for it.
  12. Agreed - 100% OEM is always best, and is always my preference. Have a look at all the other retrofits I've carried out. I have a pre-facelift, so initially I planned to retrofit the chrome strips from facelift taillights. However it turns out u can't do just that, and will need new facelift taillights (both inner & outer), new boot strip, new RVC, new boot button and change the wiring harness. Total cost will b well in excess of $1000AUD!!! No thanks. My craving for the facelift chrome strips is not worth that much. I'm happy with my LED pre-facelift taillights with my improvised chrome strip that cost me $10. Even the Skoda Technicians here at the service centre were stumped at the finish and quality of it. They were initially confused given mine is a pre-facelift. It's not for everyone. It's an alternative option. While it's cheap, it certainly doesn't look it. ....and added bonus - the same chrome strip roll can b used on the lower door guards, just like factory. Again at a fraction of OEM price.
  13. Here u go.... AU $4.16 29%OFF | 10m Car Chrome Moulding Trim Door Seal Strip Sticker For Skoda Octavia A5 A7 Kodiaq Superb 2 Rapid Fabia 1 Porsche 911 Cayenne M https://a.aliexpress.com/_mP3gUAA
  14. Thanks. I got a specific chrome door trim edge, with a specific L-shape lip. i got it from AliExpress. its flexible plastic, that comes in different sizes. i got the 9mm thick, 10m version. it comes with double sided tape. so i cut to measure, n then stuck it on. i'm impressed at how long, and well its lasted. survived high pressure washes, high speeds, sunlight, and rain. its ridiculous how much a small piece of OEM chrome/black strip costs!! my version looks almost identical, costs a 10th of the OEM bits, and can b easily fixed/replaced.
  15. I've had the 95K1 software applied to mine, about 3.5 yrs ago. It is purely meant to fix the headlight startup sequence, so that it (headlight dance) doesn't get "stuck" or interrupted by ignition firing up. It doesn't do anything to the headlight range/performance. As it's been said before - park approx. 7m from a wall, pop the bonnet, using an Allen key, make slight adjustments to the adjuster on the top of the headlight. There r two adjusters - one for vertical throw and another for horizontal. Adjust the vertical one. See image below. If u need to make major adjustments - then u need VCDS or OBDEleven to put the headlights into Learning mode before u can make adjustments.
  16. That's wat I did with mine after the car was lowered 20mm - headlight throw needed to b lifted ever so slightly.
  17. The 19" on my Superb, with the DCC suspension rides so much more comfortable and quieter than the 18" RS wheels I had on my mk2 MY11 Octavia RS. It rode on 225/40R18 tyres. @Hdsn555- I saved approx. $120 a corner by going to 245. Almost $500 in total. Happy days.
  18. They're the 19" Trinity rims. Comes standard on the L&K models. We don't get L&K models here in Oz. So we get it with the Tech Pack here. Same specs as the 19” Vega and Supernova rims.
  19. That's a very good point @GregorSamsa mine is not an L&K, hence has no rear door controller module.
  20. i'm not sure wat could b happening in ur situation. is everything else working - rear window is going up & down? rear door strip ambient light is working? if not, then yes - check the fuse panel. likely shorted somewhere.
  21. Not sure wat u mean - ur door connector looks the same. Plus, if u read the posts above - it's clear which wires to tap into on the door connector (brown+yellow) and the motor connector (red+white).
  22. U'll have no issues with 19s as they're available as an option or standard fit in a few different markets. As for the tyres - many, including myself, have changed it from 235/40R19 to 245/40R19 as its a lot more cheaper, more supply, closer to the real GPS speed, and taller sidewalls for more comfort. The downside is slightly increased fuel consumption due to the bigger tyre.
  23. Must b an MY20 onwards feature. Pre-MY20, it definitely remains in Individual mode, even after turning off the car......until u change it to another mode. The only thing that doesn't stick in Individual mode is the "Drive" mode selection - it will always revert to Normal. But everything else like DCC, Steering, ACC will remain.
  24. The low beam range on my Superb Bi-xenons r spot on, from factory. See the vid of mine below - will give u an idea of how it should b normally. Sounds like urs needs adjusting. https://youtu.be/v3BgUfsupkM
