U'll have no issues with 19s as they're available as an option or standard fit in a few different markets. As for the tyres - many, including myself, have changed it from 235/40R19 to 245/40R19 as its a lot more cheaper, more supply, closer to the real GPS speed, and taller sidewalls for more comfort. The downside is slightly increased fuel consumption due to the bigger tyre.

Must b an MY20 onwards feature. Pre-MY20, it definitely remains in Individual mode, even after turning off the car......until u change it to another mode. The only thing that doesn't stick in Individual mode is the "Drive" mode selection - it will always revert to Normal. But everything else like DCC, Steering, ACC will remain.

Never happened to me in the 4+ years I've had mine. Keys r always in my pocket. As mentioned above, keys need to b in range, and u need to press n hold for a minimum 2-3 secs for it to start opening. @TerryJP- do u have virtual kick pedal? It could b faulty, triggering the boot to open.

i've put a set of these from AliExpress before - the quality & fitment is poor in comparison to the factory ones. threw them in the bin. The Kopacek ones, which i have now, r much better and the same quality as the factory ones

u don't need to remove the gaitor to remove the switch panels. i have removed the switch panel myself as i also put in a start-stop module. u need a trim removal tool to pry the front of the switch panel. while jamming the top side, carefully pry the middle up - it should then pop out.

It's chain driven. Service intervals r every 12 months or 15,000 kms. Major services r every 30,000 kms. DSG (wet) is serviced every 60,000 kms.

i wonder if there is difference in the washer fluid cap based on the car being a Superb 280/272 vs others like Superb 220? the 280/272 has the washer fluid located at the back, next to the base of the windscreen. while the others have it at the front, next to the radiator and air intake.

@bmoster - given u already have a facelift Superb - u can simply buy the chrome strip bits, as described in the discussion post linked above, and stick it on yours. sadly for me, with a pre-facelift, its more work as i'll need an entire set of inner and outer tailights, new RVC, new boot handle, as well as modifying the wiring harness 😞 so i improvised and made my own, literally, chrome strip for my pre-facelift. works for me

U can't change bulbs via the side compartments in the boot. U need to remove the taillights entirely, then u can twist the bulb to remove. It's very easy to do. Yes, check the user manual.

its an emissions related thing - hence why the gearbox will always revert to "Normal" when u start the car.

i've had 3 punctures in the 4 yrs i've owned the car, and given the fact that the spare tyre messes with the ACC and TPMS, i decided to put the full sized spare. plus, i hate the look of a steel wheel!!!

+1 I've got similar Auxito LED bulbs in mine. Easy to install and error free. Good light output. Did similar with my indicator - replaced with Auxito LED bulbs.

wat model year do u have @tom500? do u have just the one usb port under the climate control? or do u have another inside the centre arm rest storage area?

Sounds like the folks who installed ur tow bar has done/removed something in the fuse box, and has now affected ur Infotainment. "Open Circuit" means either a fuse or wire plug is no longer connected. The car electrics is expecting it to b there, but nothing.

The Power Magic Pro allows the dashcam to run after the car is switched off, i.e. parking mode. Any bumps and motion will b detected and recorded. I already had a Blackvue Dashcam installed before, but it was setup to only work while the car is on. Now my dashcam can run in parking mode, when the car is off. With the module, u can preset it to stop parking mode based on time (hrs) and/or voltage cutoff (V). Or U can manually switch it off so it only works while the car is on.

Finally after months of sitting on the shelf, I added the Power Magic Pro to my existing Blackvue dashcam setup. Install was straight forward but I wish they included instructions to "start the car" cause I thought the unit was faulty when I turned the ignition on to ACC only and nothing happened!!! I initially removed it and was about to return it, but after some further research/investigation - I saw the car needed to b started for the unit to spring into action for the first time. The glovebox conveniently had a pre-drilled small hole, from factory, against the felt backing, for me to route the wires through. Allows for the Power Magic Pro to b out of sight, yet easily accessible

Yes it is. The boot torch that comes with the car is magnetic, and I've used it to stick to almost every part of the car body panels, except the bumpers.

TJA can't b "coded". If certain conditions r met, then TJA will become active automatically. For TJA to work, u need the following conditions met:- - ACC active/on. - Active Lane Guidance (ALG) active. Not just Lane Assist. Both Lane Assist and ALG needs to be turned on. U'll know it's working when u drop below 65 km/h and ALG continues to stay active all the way down to a stop.

Exactly. Even more reason why it's pointless to move the transmission to Neutral in an iV.

Because the clutch in a DSG is disengaged when ur stationary - hence its pointless moving it to Neutral.

Don't put ur DSG in Neutral while stopped at the lights - u'll do more damage than good.
