  1. There is no possibility that a set of OE plugs would last 80k, pull em out, take a picture and I'll tell you how old they are.
  2. It's not really very important since 50,000 volts has no problems jumping through fresh air, a few bits of dirt aren't going to affect it either. Just blow the holes out if you're worried about it.
  3. Dude, there isn't anything for the 1.2 HTP, seriously. If you wanna dress up the engine bay you'll have to figure it out for yourself. You can lower it and fit bigger wheels.
  4. Forget the engine completely, there are no mods to be done. If you want to drive faster then replace the terrible standard suspension and brakes. Motorsport engineering 101: faster laptimes are down to better handling, brakes and tyres, then a better driver, more engine power comes dead last!
  5. The wiring in the rubber boot between the door and the body is damaged, you must repair it.
  6. English please.
  7. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/437831-fabia-vrs-auxdrive-belt-replacement-how-to/?do=findComment&comment=4936037
  8. EPC lamp usually means an emissions problem, you may find that it clears itself now that you've fixed the misfire, try taking the car on a long fast drive on a motorway to clean the cat and probes.
  9. I can understand how irritated people who live in the ULEZ are because it's £12.50 every time they leave their driveway but honestly it's no worse than paying a toll for the rest of us, you just set up an account online and every time you're snapped entering ULEZ the card of your choice is automatically debited so you don't even have to remember, just like the Dartford crossing.
  10. It's only £12.50 to use ULEZ for a 24hr period, you'd have to visit an awful lot to justify changing cars!
  11. Projectors are not really very good, I'd suggest stripping, polishing and treating your existing lenses so that they're crystal clear again and fitting good quality uprated bulbs rather than swapping the entire units. However, I drive so fast that I keep my eyes shut at night so as not to scare myself so feel free to ignore my barking at the moon!
  12. The 1.6 TDI is famous for eating its injectors so if they've never been replaced then replacing all four would probably solve the problem, however there's no imperative to do so until the symptoms become intolerable. Your choice really.
  13. What is the issue, is it theoretical or does the car have symptoms?
  14. That depends entirely on how gravity affects your right foot...
  15. You won't be able to buy new twenty-year old tyres. Just go to the tyre fitters and get whatever they recommend. Simples.
  16. That fault code refers to a communication error between the ECM and the TCM, since you don't have a TCM then it's probably a coding error.
  17. Is yours an automatic or a manual?
  18. That's not what it means, it just means there's a fault, you need to check the codes.
  19. I'd wait to find out what's wrong first before playing daft guessing games about munny.
  20. The cambelt has been stripped of its teeth and the valves are bent. The only way to get that fixed for £500 is to do it yourself! You'll have to buy a pump to get the fuel out if the tank and into a big enough drum or a couple of jerry cans.
  21. That looks like a boost control solenoid, it's supposed to click, you'd know if it wasn't working because you'd have no turbo boost!
  22. I agree it could be the pump module itself but the battery is old and is a lot cheaper and easier to replace and will almost certainly need doing this winter anyway. There are no coding issues fitting a new pump, it's plug and play by the way.
  23. The plug is sooty due to the misfire, the misfire is due to low compression, the low compression is due to a burnt exhaust valve. There really isn't much else to tell you I'm afraid.
  24. They've already proved it by a process of elimination, it can't be anything else, you should have more confidence in your diagnoses.
  25. ...or just replace the battery since the charging system is obviously working properly so it really can't be anything else...
