  1. In my case I hope it would work better, only had the car a month.
  2. Yes the car I test drove had them and by the time I got mine the spec had changed,
  3. The great thing about the dsg is you can use it as a manual when the need arises, I did last night as in auto it wanted to be in 4th but as I was stuck behind a couple of slow cars and a tractor I selected manual 2nd ready for a quick overtake, then back to auto for the rest of the drive
  4. I can drive mine all day on low and still not get cold my Cmax I could manage about 5 mins before I wa freezing mines back to the dealer again
  5. Judging by the comment on kangaroo img I would say it's a manual
  6. Mines poor too it's going back into the dealers for a second time.
  7. I thought I was doing something wrong but I wasn't
  8. The factory will be on holiday soon too.
  9. Jee I thought I was picky, It's not a parking ticket holder it's a blue badge holder and it's brilliant not had one since my Citroen C5
  10. ACT is not noticeable in driving the only time I notice it when it the dash changes and I look to see what come up. Totally seemless
  11. I only manage 36 ish on that route.
  12. It doesn't need to be open, mines stiff after opening to put stuff in the boot, only open for a second or two..
  13. Mines the same if the car is in the sun and it gets hot, which is most days at the moment.
  14. My dealer cave me usb c adapters so still using my original cables, you don't need the sd cards anymore any updates happen via Skoda connect.
  15. After 6 months of use most wiper blades are done for, I change mine at the beginning of summer and winter, in between times I clean the blades it's surprising how much gunge comes of them, I just use a dish cleaner pad an washing up liquid, works for me.
  16. Had it happen to me, the person that hit me wanted to give me £40 , glad I didn't accept the bill was nearly £850 that was on a Ford Grand C-Max so much more in mirrors than just glass these days.
  17. The ABS based system IMHO is fine, it does what you need, still no excuse not to check your tyre pressures manually, I do most weeks. As to the rRenault system I had nothing but problems with it on my C5 estate also rubbish on Fords .The battery on both systems fail far to easily also you get electrolytic corrosive around the valve seats causing pressure loss.
  18. Travall are very good though personally I prefer a cage.
  19. Further investigation suggest it was radio updates though not sure what's changed. I think it update even when you are moving but it won't show you the update info and just goes ahead and updates a it asks you to ok the info, my theory but I may well be wrong.
  20. Driving along and, update available pops up on the screen, ok for more info or something like that so touch ok and it then says not available whilst driving, so my question is, is this the latest software or not? hardware H22 obviously that won't update. Software 0270, Nav Data base 21.3.
  21. It's correct, maybe because I have the newest car on here , built last week of March, I got it on 30April , or maybe they haven't noticed.
  22. It shows D and if you have car data on the small screen it says coasting.
  23. No it shows D I never use Eco it uses too much fuel, sport is the mode of choice for B road driving and normal for A-roads
  24. Now that function i quite like and in sport mode you get it more often if you lift off you do get engine braking , a light throttle give you 2 cylinder mode And the ability to cruise with good fuel efficiency.
  25. My point is I don't like it and it is no longer able to be switched off.
