  9. Great, well done, I haven't had an opportunity to look as yet, and said opportunity has just disappeared into the distance, I need to have 6 weeks of radio therapy, which, I am assured will leave me weak and tired, so roll on easter or thereafter!
  10. Here a la frog i had to sign a disclaimer as i did not want the 'fix'!
  11. As I recall at the time the owner had to specifically tell the service dept when the car was in for service that they did not want the fix otherwise it was done as a matter of course!
  12. Have you tried premium diesel? It does improve things and usually is more economical overall!
  13. As yet no chance / time,I have just started some radio therapy(no, not Radio 2) and after about 6 mins I just feel f***ed, I am told it gets better, also the temperature is quite low and windy with it, I am quite exposed to the western approaches. So, hopefully soon I'll be able to grovel about.

  21. Just had my yeti French mot'd, passed, although ref to the rubber disc connection, the outer metal rim has parted from the rubber core, have been looking for a listed topic, can't find it, anyone got a link to the posting, and also a part number? Thanks
  22. Ok, battery reading 12.9 after slow charge, cleared all VCDS errors, covered 50 miles, with 6 or so stops, got back home ran VCDS again , no logged problems, so verification I think, it has been a battery problem!
  23. It would appear my problem may be battery based, this morning the reading was 12.17, so am slow charging again, in the hope it might regenerate the battery slowwly -- I suppose this is a result of lockdowns due to Covid, the car having only being used on short shopping runs.
  24. After a slow overnight charge , disconnected and after an hour battery voltage 12.7, this morning 12.46, I have been trying to find relevant postings, can't, are my readings ok, is the battery ok? Been for a 5 mile jaunt, so far no warning light indications! Here's to touching lots of wood!
