Timing Belt replacement
Yes here in France, indy ex VW quoting 360€ for labour etc and a Gates kit for 150€ thus about 510€ or £440 in total,. Just curious about the Gates kit, I have used Gates parts on my Marlin without problems - these have been for a Ford sierra setup

How do i use vcds to push out the haldex filter,
Thanks for that, in fact, I connected up the laptop etc and had a ferret around, found the relevant section and ran thro' the various stages and the white nylon(?) top had been pushed out, so fairly easy to get the filter out etc. Drained the system, mounted new filter, replaced drain plug and recharged the unit using a 60ml syringe, when overflow occured replaced fill plug and took the car for a short run, checked oil level, needed a small addition. Because its my first attempt , took about 2 hours, now I estimate about an hour for the next time!

Skoda yeti alarm system.
The B pillar button is to disable the interior sensors , i used it when my dog was onboard and left in the car for the 6-9hour channel crossings regularly made. The internal sensors are rearmed with subsequent locking procedures!!

Rear brake disc size?
My local garage got the job after I failed, they had to acquire 2 x new 12 point pieces to loosen the carrier bolts -- a lesson there somewhere, total cost, 1 hours work 50€ all in!

Multiple Faults?
I had similar indications a couple of years ago on the offside rear sensor, I unplugged the sensor cable at the sensor end ie bottom left in the photo and squirted some some switch/contact cleaner on the plug and socket , remade the connection tried the car, problem solved, split the joint and used some vaseline on it, subsequently problem free!! Might be worth a try.

Adjustable brake settings deep down in VCDS?
Yes, it was covered on here several years ago, 3 settings as I recall(soft, medium, and hard) -- it was suggested as an alternative to upsizing the front brake discs on the 140 to 170'size(diameter)

Sticker to cover airbag sticker on sun visor
^ ^ ^ You said it kiddo!! That would explain all the cars performing around brest And Quimper Sunday afternoons with very loud exhaust systems, monster trucks etc. When I asked my insurance bureau about mods to my yeti, DTUK box, non std tyres the agent told me that it was ok to do these mods without having to tell the insurer(Allianz). I currently have a DTUK box fitted, at CT (MOT equiv) time the inspector has looked at it but never commented, and have always been issued with the certificate, maybe Picardie is on another planet!! ;-))
