  1. @Tech1e was a bit of a resident expert in this system if I recall correctly 🤞🏻
  2. Good morning from Ireland, and welcome to Briskoda! Now you are a member, you will discover that there is a whole lot of other areas of the site you don’t see when not a member, so happy exploring!
  3. Welcome back! We always come back 😂 Can you remember your old username? Admins might be able to help get your old account going again if you want?
  4. Dia Dhuit! cà bhfuil tú i do chonaí? There’s a good few of us Irish knockin around the place, so could find even more local help too 👌
  5. Hi! 👋 Welcome to the forum! There’s a growing antipodal contingent on here too, so you should feel at home 😉
  6. I don’t read this thread all that often, but the last of pages is getting worse than a few of the last political threads that have been closed by the admins! Take a few deep breaths and as Lee said dial the personal attacks and the unsupported theories back or you’ll attract the people with the power to shut things down…
  7. @HGFRENCH It just showed on my activity, since I read this earlier, an admin split your last post into the Superb 3 section. I posted a translation to it already too.
  8. Translation - (the default language for Briskoda is English, people tend to report non English posts and it annoys the mods 😉 ) Hello, I need help to install a high power low pressure pump on my vehicle as part of a flexfuel E85 Stage 2 project. However, I am having a lot of trouble finding a solution. I bought a Bosch 0580200392 pump and a Bartek 590LH kit. It fits but as it is for the GOLF 7R type the fuel gauge does not work it does not seem to be the same type because the tank is different, after several in-depth searches it seems that the VW ARTEON 280 / VW PASSAT B8 and SKODA SUPERB 3V 280 share the same platform with a specific pump and the same tank, my wiring concerning the fuel gauge is 3 pins, it seems that after several searches my car model is only compatible with an Audi RS3 low pressure pump and that there is a plug & play wiring harness. https://scskunkwerks.com/en-gb/products/awd-mqb-rs3-pump-hardware-and-harness-kit?variant=47121984880961 https://scskunkwerks.com/en-gb/products/brushless-rs3-low-pressure-fuel-pump-upgrade-for-awd-mqb If you know how to install it, please let me know which pump/harness I need to purchase to install a high-power, low-pressure pump. Thank you for your help. Sincerely,

Morning, Welcome to Briskoda! Much better off joining than lurking, there’s much more information available, as large areas of forum don’t show up unless logged in 👍🏻

Dia dhuit 👋 An bhfuil tú sásta le do Kodiaq? (Brisky rules are English only, but welcoming a fellow Irishman is, I reckon, an acceptable exception 😉)

    Evening, Welcome along to Briskoda!
  15. Have a look at your throttle body, it may need cleaning and so is allowing too much air through if it’s sticking a smidge. Also the Idle Air Control valve.
  16. I believe if one scrolls back a few yrs of this thread to circa 2018/19 I got a Tipo in Northern Italy when we went to Venice. It was grand. Drive grand. Felt grand. Was kitted grand. Fit the at the time 3 of us and the bags and baby crap. I do see the very very odd one around from time to time but they are a rare vehicle this far up Northern Europe. Edit - page 1! The first round of this thread 😆
  17. Niro is too good, cee’d too common… Tipo isn’t a bad guess tbf… But I’ll say Peugeot 2008
  18. Oh you’re there now? I’ll go with Kia C apostrophe D
  19. Hello, is there any upgrade available for this? Please use a translation tool for posts on the site, as the default language is English and I know the mods don’t like to start giving out warnings for wrong language stuff.
  20. I’m open to being wrong, but I’m pretty sure you have both a maf and a map sensor on your engine. Also do you have a code translation for those above? They seem to be proprietary codes from the tool you’re using
  21. Yeah, crank sensor tend to be hard starts, rather than rough idle. Great thing about the maf check is it’s easy to do. Just unplug it and turn the key. It either resolves or it doesn’t.
  22. Did the mechanic put a diagnostic tool on? My first guess would be Mass Air Flow sensor getting inconsistent readings causing fuelling problems. Try unplugging it, and see what it does then. If it settles down and doesn’t do the bounce there’s your answer. Without the sensor plugged in the ex just reverts to a default condition and an assumed airflow rate and fuels according to that.
  23. ….. Mine does 😵‍💫
  24. Also, assuming it’s the same across models, the heat only comes on when the rear demister is also turned on. So get the knob turned as close to heat as it will go (as said they don’t line up) and turn on the demister. Should work then.
