  1. Hi, And welcome to the forum! Yeah, there’s a lot of infotainment knowledge around these days as well as everything else related to these cars so you you shouldn’t have any trouble finding out just about anything!
  2. Hi and welcome to the Forum. If you do a search or ask the question in the Karoq section the guys will send you in the right direction.
  3. Evening and welcome to Brisky! Have a look through the project threads and the mk3 section you’ll get loads of tips and inspiration 👍🏻
  4. @EnterName I know your not a fan of moderators, but maybe breathe before you aim snark at them… Posts that have certain phrases or email addresses in them get flagged automatically by forum software for a manual review as part of spam defence. Helps keep the place a nice relaxed spam free environment 😊
  5. I’d 3rd? 4th? The injector dying as the issue… Been there had that, paid the bill 🙄
  6. Have you had any error messages about the dpf? The light coming on and then going sounds like normal regeneration activity. It’s when it comes on and stays on you need to start thinking about forcing a regen. And even that’s easy to do - Good long clear ish motorway stretch, get over 40mph with revs at 2000-2500rpm for about 15-20mins. And have more than 1/4 tank of fuel.. ECU should take care of it then.

Glad you’re happy with the Kamiq! My wife has an Arona so basically the same thing in a different dress and loves it so much she’s in her second
  8. Hi Martin, Welcome to Briskoda! You will definitely learn a lot around here 😂
  9. At a guess it’s a CAYC engine? In which case it absolutely has an egr system , the cooler is buried down the back of the engine. Easiest way to get to look at it is from underneath with the tray off. Lumpy idle during a regen is it trying to complete the cycle which should be done “Between 2000-2500 rpm at a speed above 60kph” usually taking about 15-20mins at that speed and rpm consistently. I find 4th gear at 90kph is a nice middle ground unless I can get to a motorway.
  10. Hi

Hi. 👋 Welcome to the forums! Wish someone would give me a car 😂
  11. I don’t want to react… great that some people might be able to get their hands on bits they need… sad it’s one less mk1 in the fastest colour now gone to the graveyard…
  12. Hi and welcome to Briskoda!
  13. Hi and welcome to Briskoda! If you have a look in the either the Fabia 3 or the Audio and tech sections you should be able to find plenty threads discussing the upgrade links you need
  14. Ah man, I love when my new content feed is a couple of members arguing about not a whole lot… Deep breaths boys and chill out.
  15. Evening, Welcome to the forum! You’ll find the “just right” spot for the seat eventually. It took me 6months to find it in my replacement work van 🤣 then someone else borrowed it, and stuffed me for another 2 months 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️
  16. Morning, I feel your pain for stuck in the middle of night shifts, I’ve done enough of them over the years! Hope you find the info you need to help with your problems!
  17. Translation - Hello, I'd like to have a towbar installed on my 2024 Octavia TDI 150, but it's impossible. There are no approved towbars for this car, and there's no indication of when they'll be available, so I can't get a quote. Do you know more? Is anyone else in the same situation? Hi, The standard, accepted language in Briskoda is English. So I have translated your post above to help with that. It doesn’t always get technical details exactly right but Google translate is generally very good 👍🏻 Bonjour, La langue standard acceptée à Briskoda est l'anglais. J'ai donc traduit votre message ci-dessus pour vous aider. Les détails techniques ne sont pas toujours parfaitement clairs, mais Google Traduction est généralement très performant 👍🏻
  18. Evening Martin! Welcome to Briskoda, and I hope you re not having trouble with the superb bringing you along now 😉
  19. Hi Dee hi! And welcome along! Seems like you’ve been as busy getting ready for the new arrival as a new born coming home after birth 🤣
  20. White smoke can also be coolant getting in the combustion chamber. So, if the EGR operating causes white smoke, it’s possibly a leak in the egr letting coolant into the pipe work back to the chamber. How’s your coolant level? Any loss visible? Though it’s probably doesn’t take a lot, so may take time to be noticeable
  21. Going by the number of time car parks I’ve seen belts clearly permanently clipped in and sat on top of… and a recent spa from from RSA about young lads buying “replacement” seat belt clips online… that then get put into the latch to not need to sit on the belt… I think quite a few idiots need reminding… Me? I feel weird not having a belt on driving from one end of a work compound to the other.. (some of them are 1/2 a mile long…) with nothing else other than stones around me..
  22. Have you that little to be at? 🤣
  23. Morning, and welcome to the forum. Don’t worry, you’ll end up sticking around 😆 the forum has a good community and plenty knowledge, not just about Skodas. There’s plenty non-Skoda project cars here too to explore and all experience is welcome!
  24. Morning and Welcome to Briskoda. Hopefully the mk3 is behaving itself for you 👍🏻
