Brake pedal noise in traffic - related to the handbrake being applied
Or the Accuators, that if the car moves while autohold is active apply more brake pressure. Good that a Tech will be able to diagnose and then fix. Not just spay something on the pedal assembly. @SkodaKing did you not get the part numbers for the parts replaced for your service & maintenance record. An invoice even if a Warranty Repair so that future owners or techs can know what was done? DATA Protection does not stop them showing the work sheet and parts to the person that actually owns a vehicle. & is responsible for its safety and maintenance.

There are VW Trained Techs and others on this forum and they will know what they know, but as far as DQ200,s and experience of several and failures @logiclee has probably had more than most.

@EnterName Re Servicing .That is good advice, and your belief. & as your Auto Specialist might advice. There are plenty DQ200,s running what they left the factory with or what was put in 11 years ago at the Service Campaign. It is clutch pack failures usually, or selector forks. Those 2013-2015 DQ200,s maybe had or not Service Campaign '34H5', that is the over heating / pressure issue, cracks and leaks & accumulator failures that brought about that preventative software update. No oil changes where carried out, even though the issue came from the change of oils from 2012. It is not any official advice that Skoda UK have given, or even Skoda CZ though. If anyone has in writing from the Company then they can share. Stuff received in reply to questions from Skoda UK,s Customer Services provider can be total tosh. Seemingly they ask the Technical department', or maybe it is Google / AI.

It matters not if they have changed them because you are driving with what you have now. Maybe a service of the brakes is in order, Strip and clean, or just a close visual inspection. After all a car with a Full Main Dealer Service History might well only ever have had the brakes given a look see. Maybe not the wheels ever off, even when there has been brake fluid changes. Brake pads can get rusty, and brake discs get rusty edges.

This is back to as far as 2014 when we got Service Campaign '34F7' and the synthetic oil changed to mineral FREE. I have asked ever since at any opportunity VW Group & SKODA UK why those that had this done then never got further Oil Changes free gratis from VW Group. Because no Service Regime is what they say.

Skoda / VW Group already use AI.. Maybe they officially use it to reply to customers questions while not changing the Corporate Advice / Schedules.

Warranty Company. An Insurance of sorts. @10 minutes 10 seconds. There is a Harry's Garage Vid thread in the General Automotive Chat section where i posted this vid. VW, Audi, Skoda, SEAT Service plans do not include any servicing of a DQ200 DSG.

Aggressive. ? Or asking for the source of information that is now possibly online for ever, and can become a factoid.

I really would like to know which Oil Producer or Retailer gave the reply to the OP about Service Intervals? Very often there are other forums that will quote from Briskoda posts. It is fair enough advice so it would be good to know who gave the advice that VW Group who were the biggest manufacturers in the world do not give. They used Synthetic oil until the issue they first ignored could be ignored no longer and the did a Global recall but excluded Europe until 2 years later. There are Autobox Specialists telling owners to ignore VW Group. Good if an oil company is as well. Amazingly the DQ381 Service Regime stays as they first set out. The time will come when they will admit they have co-cked up with these.

the truth about electric cars
'Central Government', Westminster / UK Government, so this is England once again. The place that needs the billions spending on Nuclear so that they do not have anything like happened in Spain. The Government in Scotland might well miss targets and have to modify targets, maybe on their emissions and government and local authority vehicles. That would be them, and not the Central Government though.

Spare Wheel/Tyre
@pingpongpete1 Have you actually put a tape measure round the spare and the car tyres to check the circumference or just sat the spare next to the wheel on the car? Do you mean buying an identical spare to the size on the car, and not just a Full Size Spare. Even if on a Steel wheel or alloy and the same circumference but narrower it is still just an Emergency Spare, as in a reduce your speed. Take a wheel off the car and try it in the spare tyre well. After all if you have to take a punctured or damaged wheel / tyre off it needs to go someplace if the boot was loaded up.

DSG juder - clutch slipping?
Earlier DQ200,s In Twinchargers we could get them when sprinting to go through the gears when taking off in Manual 1st right up to M4th without lifting and then change across to D and 5th and have them change up to 7th @ 127 mph. Maybe Manual did show how you have slip, but then there is a 1.6TDI and a DQ200 dsg with different software /management than in other DQ200,s /engines. The Slip in the Famous DQ200 slip was with TSI,s mostly, 1.2 then 1.0. As it was the 1.4 TDI,s with a DQ200 were very prone to slipping. Letting them self change was Simply Clever for longevity. But with Twin chargers i could do double kickdowns, drop 3 gears and get it on Supercharger & Turbo between 2,800 and 3,500 rpm. Indestructable until they were bust. Then New Software and Uprated clutches were just the job.

Audi S-Tronics were @ 38,000 because they had the USA at that and Germans are not that great at km,s to miles as far as lots of service advice.

DSG juder - clutch slipping?
That demonstrates the issue of holding it in a Manual gear. Sorry i could not help in any way and just cause offence. Maybe since in Greece you could get both oils changed and the gathering stoor out from beside the clutches, but maybe it just needs that and new clutch packs. Have the specialist do a reset first though.

@super717 Please state your sources then of these changes in advice. The DQ200,s have had Global Recalls in 2012, in Europe Service Campaigns, 2014 on the same 2009-2012 , then in 2017 on 2013-2015 ones. Then TPI,s 2015-2018, Software Updates and uprated clutches. So it is an idea for some to maybe have both oils changed and people do. ? Which OIl Company gave the advice?

@rgrigsby Have the brakes had any servicing other than look sees, like stripping / cleaning / lubrication & has the brake fluid been changed?

@super717 Are you following that regime then? No reason for you not to have what ever servicing these experts are advising. I looked and see you are in the UK. The DQ200 it not sealed for life and has 2 oils. In the box and in the MCU. There is no Service Schedule, guidelines advice or recommendations on Servicing. Which oil company replied? Who says @ 40,000 - 10,000? Which non VW Group might use the DQ200 7 speed twin dry clutch DSG? PS. Oil inspected in a DQ200 DSG, really? What total BS. Manufacturers that use Haldex 4x4 systems recommend oil changes @ 20,000 miles / 2 years and VW Group @ 3 years / 30,000 miles. Same with VAQ Diffs, oil changes, these are not DQ200 DSG,s though.

Gearbox in emergency mode
You pay for the diagnosis if the Warranty Work in not approved, not a warranty issue. Skoda / VW Warranty provider pays for the lot if a fault, covered under warranty. Pay just £1 even and get a 2 years parts and labour warranty on the job. Read the T&C,s and know them as well or better than the Dealership Employees. Spark plugs due @ 4 years / 40,000 miles if not changed at 2024 service or since. Air filter needs inspected because maybe never done even at a Major Service. Approved used warranty booklet.pdf SKODA_Warranty_Terms_July_2023.pdf

DSG juder - clutch slipping?
EDIT. Don't drive in Manual and then not change up. We used to when Sprinting with Fabia vRS just floor in manual and force the DQ200 to change up, it was faster than in S. So, to your question, Normal for one with faults / issues. So it needs dealt with. It is a S-A gearbox. this means Semi Automatic, 7 Speed Twin Dry Clutch DSG. A proper reset might be in order, not the self reset pedal to floor stuff. Maybe look at the threads in the Fabia mk3 section. They are long and winding, and the long and shot, pre your 2020, there were software updates, and clutch packs. A reset might work, or diagnosis from a tech that knows DQ200,s and not one that says, 'they all do that'.

Buying first VRS help
It is not an AWD is it, so not Haldex servce but the VAQ. (Front diff) If a Skoda / VW Approved Warranty is available from the service record then good. I would buy one. Faults if any need deal with, why is the seller not having the car 'Fault Code free'. ? Under warranty?
-
Buying first VRS help
@Dtre If there is any kind of warranty that might depend if a claim as to being serviced to Manufacturers Guidelines, Recommendations, Advice or what ever, they never are clear what these things are. VAQ diff was @ 3 years / 30,000 miles, then UK Main Dealers started saying @ 2 years / 20,000 miles. Then some said Optional, or said nowt. They have issues with arse and elbow really.

Buying first VRS help
It is said by some that it was earlier ones, and things are overblown. We will not know if really anything since 2022 is ok for 5 years until 2027. Same with 2025 vehicles with a DQ381 out of warranty, 2028 on is when we find out. Best get an extended 4 or 5 year warranty before the car is first registered if the car is to be kept.. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/530642-gearbox-in-emergency-mode Simply clever would be VW / Skoda putting an 8 year / 100,000 mile warranty on a DSG with a 80,000 mile service regime.

@GarfieldTheCat Can we assume that it is new BEV,s under £40,000 that you are looking at to suit your uses? Peugeot e-308 SW MG5 EV. (seats might be uncomfortable for some.) Vauxhall Astra Sports Touring EV.
