  1. Speculation is always an issue. Those on the other side of a world or even locally speculating and vlogging quite common.
  2. Tyres fitted very relevant. It would be good to be repeating in same conditions but something like the ECO Bias OEM tyres you get and then Upgraded tyres as some might fit, All Season / All Weather / Wet weather tyres, or on All Terrains on Road.
  3. What engine have you, 1.0 or a 1.5 TSI? Which County / climate. EDIT, i see Australia, but had to look at your profile. How used, low annual mileage or high. Fixed Annual Servicing or Variable. Service as per your use etc. Location matters. A pollen filter can maybe be vacuumed, and area cleaned between changes, same with an Air Filter. Ask the Dealership or Garage what they actually do, what they do replace and when or check. (In Australia.) Likely not that much really.. This chart is not accurate, Cambelt, DSG,s,. (A DQ200 DSG has no Service Interval.) Are you in a Dust rich or dust free region? For Cambelt changes. You pay for extras. Leaving an Air Filter unchecked for 6 years would be silly. Inspect and replace as needed. Pollen filter every 2 years. Spark Plugs @ 40,000 miles or sooner. AC maybe at 2 years maybe not. Brake fluid at 3 years / 30,000 or some will say at 2 years, 20,000 & each 2 years, 20,000 miles. So this is a Skoda UK type guide. Just a guide.
  4. More and more choices coming quarter by quarter. Bigger batteries in not that much bigger cars. Still just not that great efficiency and just longer ranges because the big battery.
  5. @martin126 Not really relevant but you say you have a DSG, so a DQ200 7 speed twin dry clutch, What engine have you though, a TSI, 1.2 or 1.4 ?
  6. Does it really not apply the e-Brake now when you switch off, unfasten the seat belt or open the drivers door?
  7. @Redestate Where is that then? I read your profile. No signature showing at the left anymore. Well not on a Chrome Book or Smart phone.
  8. @Redestate It is worth saying you have an Enyaq 50. Just saves anyone needing to check your profile.
  9. &look and see the maximum amount of any warranty claim. Worth a look at recent Harry's Garage Video about his Jaguar Warranty and annual service and maintenance and warranty work discovered. Thread in General Automotive chat Harry's Garage had video linked.
  10. . Not enough full adverts for Safety Recalls of any cars. The RECALL Announcement on the telly or magazines / press should be as long as the Adverts for selling them and paid for by the manufacturers.
  11. Is this correct about the wheelbase even with a 2024 model?
  12. WTF? I like an estate and i like cladding, but this is just too much.
  13. Good that you have Service Books in Sweden. I never even looked at you profile to see where you were or good a clue from the 3 crowns. That is my bad.
  14. @2stroke Does the history of the VAG Workshop Service Plan show that the the Skoda Workshop changed the spark plugs at 40,000 & 80,000 miles. It is just that Spark Plug replaced is not part of Service Plans commonly, as Brake Fluid changed at 3 years and each 2 years are not. They are extra payment items, like the AC Service is.
  15. IME and i change all cars / vehicles i get from the tyres they come on which are nearly always Summer / All Year round tyres as UK cars get to All Season, All Weather or All Year round tyres. Softer Compounds, sometimes wider tread and sometimes narrower. No idea about the difference in noise as a bit Mutt & Jeff. But i know it has been years since i heard anyone scream or the noise you get as you go in a ditch, through a wall / fence etc.
  16. A VWFS Service Plan was running 2021-2025 then another oddly from 2023-2027 which is nice. Does not mean they Service to the Manufacturers recommendations, guidelines, schedules or specifications though. ** Covered by a VWFS Service plan now. As to a DQ381 there should be no confusion over one of those, they are not available in 2015 when the car was built so that was a known known in 2020 and when a service plan was put in place on 30/11/2021 @ over 50,000 miles.
  17. Is anyone suffering the issue this spring in the UK?
  18. @cnc It did look exactly like that. You might be right but the OP can tell us.
  19. Yes a Hydraulic chain tensioner. So you drain the oil and do not keep it draining for 'Long time mister' and end up with issues.
  20. @ufwojcie Have you not managed to check the one on your car yet?
  21. @beratarslan What kind of noise, wind whistling or....? Is there a sunroof, has the windscreen been replaced, maybe not sealed well?
  22. Consider an Advert in a Enthusiast Forum like Briskoda, Cars for sale. Maybe look at any Car Dealers near you that sell the kind of use car and see if they are interested in buying for cash money.
  23. My cars are very very dusty inside and in this weather are parked with windows down a bit and sunroof a bit open. The easy dust off or wipe clean is essential really and a fabric dash would be a no no as it fabric tops of door cards.
