Delivery times?
It comes from a guess and supposition and posts from the likes of me. Unless there is insiders with actual evidence. Supposition because Skoda are 'Simply Clever' and VW need to have low Average Emissions as last year they failed badly with that. so the more of the lowest polluters they can have First Registered will aid them in not paying huge penalties. Mony a mickle can mak a muckle. So get the Mild Hybrids, Plug ins a BEV's out and it all hepls.

Dsg issue/knocking
What is your DQ200 fitted to a TSI or a TDI? Has 34h5 been carried out on your car? There are fixes cheaper than a main dealer will use if it is not clutches needing changed. Various posts and threads on that.

Dsg issue/knocking
I do sometimes look, but not when on a phone and doing other stuff, then others often do not or even think to and just read the posts that do not say what engines or DSG,s they are posting about. Member even post about a vehicle that is not the one that their profile might be showing .

Dsg issue/knocking
Reading this on a phone. So no idea if the OP has a Superb 1.6 TDi so a DQ200 DSG or a 2.0 TDI so a wet clutch DSG. 2009 so assume a 6 speed wet. If it was a DQ200 service campaign 34F7 covered it oil changed from synthetic to mineral and a software update done since early @SDays. You have a DQ200. Is it the clutch packs they diagnosed on yours. Is the MCU ok? No idea the age of your car but if after 2012 and before 2015 did 34h5 require being done as and was it done. A software update which was as Service Campaign action started in 2017.

Manual 6 speed gearbox oil change
DOH, SORRY, I thought i read DSG. Ignore me going on about DSG's and not a 6 speed manual. .................................................... Ignore. Yes you are missing things. Best look at one of the guides on here that will tell you the procedure. (Or there are Youtube Guides for the various DSG's) Which 6 speed DSG is this you are doing. Is it a DQ250? Nothing to do with the DQ200 7 gearbox on your 1.4 TSI Superb is it?

Engine oil
Actually Long Life oil is perfectly fine in the main. 1.4 TSI / TFSI Twinchargers with the possible Bore Wash issue, and Long life oil & Super Unleaded petrols has been an issue. Then fundamental design, manufacturing and material failings, and a low oil capacity. Too many detergents / additives. Crap Castrol 5w 30 FS III or Quantum as recommended by VW Group / Skoda and greater then 20% of engine failures of the 3,000 Fabia vRS in the UK, and similar with Audi, VW & SEAT means using VW502 00 is simply clever. ............................................... This for GTI's / R's applies to vRS's also. Fuel filler flap 98 (95) on the Twinchargers. https://volkswagen.co.uk/en/need-help/need-help-faqs/fuel.html

This can't be right!
https://www.volkswagen.co.uk/en/need-help/need-help-faqs/fuel.html VW Recommend 98 Super for R's & GTI's for lower emissions. so that is 97 or 99 ron min Super Unleaded in the UK. (That is for a more efficient engine if it means a cleaner engine.) But your cars that were sold & are now sold was tested for the old tests and now with the WLTP / RDE & RDE2 on 95 ron Unleaded, and that will have been E5 and now might in the future have to be E10. The UK Government should have the testing done again in the UK with E10 used.

Engine oil
Is there a invoice / receipt showing the oil used at the Service. If VW 504 00 / 507 00 so 5w 30 FS III then that is fine. No need to change the oil. If you do want to change the oil then a suction pump is handy to take the oil out of the dip stick tube or just drain the oil in the normal way. Oil filler cap off, oil out, oil filter changed, making sure the oil seal is removed, centre and outer, lube new ones etc etc. Correct quantity of chosen oil used, and taken up to temp and checked then checked again when cold.
-
Engine oil
They will be using long life oil because that is what they have and use be it Fixed or Variable servicing. Also they are using Long Life oil even for Fixed Servicing because you are letting them and not insisting that you want to use VW502 00 so 5w 40 FS If they will not use what you want then do your own oil and filter changes or go someplace that will use what you want or what you supply.

Diesel Jerry Can OK to use for Petrol?
^^^ Exactly that. 2 x 10 litre cans at home. 20 litres in metal cans and 2 x 5 litre in plastic cans. Total 30 litres.

No Ignition
Welcome. When did the car last run? How have you checked the battery?

Frequent Regens
@darfash01Welcome. About the noise at the rear. How many times has the Haldex been correctly serviced with a clean out, not just an Oil change? It should have been at least twice by now. @ each 3 years or sooner rather than at 30,000 miles. http://skoda-auto.com/services/recall-actions

Oil question - is this normal
There is the 'All in' scheme with Skoda. http://skoda.co.uk/owners/all-in-service-plan For the DSG Oil change maybe best swerve Skoda Main Dealers if there is a good VW Specialist / Independent around your way. The Oil & Inspection Services & Extended Scope and then the extra cost of parts at ridiculous prices like for the Pollen & Air Filters are not worth paying IMO. A Full Service History with Invoices / Receipts showing stuff actually done is worth more than a FMDSH which might only show how little they have done.
-
Oil question - is this normal
@3 years the Brake Fluid is due a change, or at least checked for H20 content using a tester. DSG Oil change due at 40,000 miles. Not 4 years as Skoda show or might say at the Service Desk. (Haldex Service due at 3 years / 30,000 miles or sooner, proper service. not just a main dealers oil change without clean pump / filter.)
-
Oil question - is this normal
@cronemeisterDid you never check the oil when you collected the car so cold, or when you got home at operating temp, or the next time when cold? Never assume they actually handed the car back to you with the correct level, then waiting until warning light or message for Low Oil Level is not simply clever.
-
Oil viscosity
Oil top ups are needed because not all engines are the same and not all use them the same and new or used ones serviced at main dealerships can come out with not enough oil, that is when checked at Operating Temp parked on the flat and dipped after a few minutes. That is 4 or 5. 15 minutes is not a few, and Warm is not At operating temp. Check cold as well. Know where the oil is then before setting off. The Oil is to VW 504 00, 507 00 so 5w 30 FS III for fixed or variable servicing. You can use VW502 00 for Fixed Service Intervals, so that is 5w 40 FS.

Automatic braking while driving
Their work should be guaranteed. Do you mean a Skoda Dealership / Authorised Repairer. I would live to know what electric issue they think it might be with a 2014 Rapid.
-
Automatic braking while driving
@f1tzThe car certainly should be fine, but since you started the thread it was not. So their work only 4 weeks ago might be the issue that needs checking. A good professional needs to check the car because someone that says sounds like the problem is an electric one sounds like they might not have the gear or much of an idea.

What are those error indicating?
@OndrejDris all the warranty you are getting the 14 day return? Which country is this in, and how many miles / km has the car done and how old is it?

Considering a class action lawsuit against Skoda UK

Yeti 1.8TSI - Cyl.3 Misfire + Hide Cylinder
Sadly that is the way that too many 1.8TSI's have gone. Hence the pinned 1.8/2.0 TSI thread at the top of the Octavia Mk2 section and various threads in this section including the one i will bump. It is in the General Automotive section. About a possible Class Action, but has info that might interest you.

Brake pad thickness
@montec2058How much wear is there with the pads? Do you have a manual or a DSG ? Better the pads are the consumable that needs replaced rather than the discs IMO. It is nice if it is 2 or 3 sets of pads needing replaced before the discs do, again just IMO. Cars driven hard might not have the driver braking much and corroding discs can be the issue.

DSG changes using VCDS
Changing to a 8 speed TQ Auto fitted to a diesel BMW engine with x-Drive is a good idea if you do not like how a 7 speed wet clutch DSG is with a TDI.

Is my engine a PD engine?
Oil & Oil filter changes are best done often, like maybe every 15,500 km or sooner / annually. ? Which other service items are you thinking about?

This can't be right!
The OP is pretty much covered. The range showing is based on the last miles driven before putting in fuel. The tank now with E10 in will tell a tale and each tank after. But then putting in additives will only tell the OP a tale. Another few weeks and starting in Scotland and the North of England it will be Winter Spec E10, E5 and Diesel that gets delivered to tanks / filling stations. .................... If a Cetane was showing on pumps like the Octane does with petrol then there would be no doubt. Royal Dutch Shell do not mention a higher cetane.
