  1. When they say 'delivered to customers', that is a good few 'Delivered to Skoda Dealerships' who they count as 'customers' and so first sold to Skoda / VW themselves for first registrations. That would have to be the case with Enyaq in 2020. Lots of vehicles become 'Management' vehicles, then 'Ex Management cars and are sold as 'Used cars',
  2. Tyres are at a high pressure for transportation and being strapped down to transporters and the suspension has transportation blocks used so that vehicles are not bobbing all over the place on transporters..
  3. You have someone pretty senior dealing with it, just has happened with the last 4 heads of Skoda UK since 2010 had happen. The issue is that the seniority means nothing really. They come from a background in Accountancy or Management someplace to VW and treat customers like the golden goose.
  4. Kate Laws has been long enough at Skoda to know not to mess about too long before reaching a resolution and get that communicated to the Dealerships and car owners. http://uk.linkedin.com/in/kate-laws-88b559144

Welcome to the forum. Hopefully someone can help if they see your post.
  6. The Skoda Factory / Technical do not need telling what they already know. The were the ones that decided sending the cars out with functions faulty was 'simply clever' and they can get away with that for 'long time mister;, let the Dealerships take the flak and let the owners mess about contacting the media and posting on forums.
  7. If a DSG and not a manual, there is a 'Service Campaign' called on some of the DQ200 DSG's from 2013-2015, so check if it required the Recall Action and had it. '34H5' was a software update carried out as a preventative measure to help protect the DSG from a premature demise.
  8. That is good then if you can get them the parts that they are happy enough with the quality to fit. Obviously if they were able to quote a price for the parts then they knew which parts were needed and could tell you.
  9. They were able to keep producing and selling cars that met Euro 4 emissions.

TESLA 'Fast' or Rapid charging is at TESLA Superchargers. So as you come through Scotland you will be looking for them in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, Dundee and where ever. Often they are sitting empty of those with a TESLA because the driver has a car they are not getting free charging with and they will be on the Charge Place Scotland chargers getting 22 kW, 44 kW, 50 kW or what ever.
  11. Ex F1 driver & Le Mans 24 Hours winner Johnny Dumfries has died at just 62. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/56487859
  12. The Government or Governments never tested the cars for the emissions under the old system or the new one. The Manufacturers were allowed to have the testing done for them and allowed to be able to cheat. The new system is no better and it might be a EU World Wide Harmonised Test. But the World is not believing it, and neither should the Governments that brought in the system of checks. So as it is the systems are flawed. At least the owners of the latest vehicles that might not be that economical are paying something to drive them or sitting parked on the public roads other than just by the purchasing of fuel.
  13. Lots of the £0, £20, £30 VED vehicles were not that efficient with their fuel use & the emissions figures were kidology much as they are now with the WLTP / RDE. If they really are smaller, lighter and fuel efficient then running them will save the drivers money by them needing to purchase less fuel and pay less Duty & VAT.
  14. They are 'Registered Keepers', so that can be Skoda UK, VW Finance, or a Dealership and some use an Employees Name like the Head Sales Executive, or the CEO's spouse. So that can be a Demonstrator, Courtesy Car, the CEO's spouses mothers car etc etc. 1st keeper, no idea how many drivers. Then the 2nd Keeper can be 'Hertz' or 'Tesco' or anyone, company or individual. So Registered Keepers mean very little. The car at the Dealers is In Trade so not showing the dealers as a Registered Keeper just now. But as with all used cars, unless you personally know who had the car you just have to go on the info you can get and the condition.
  15. The MG EV's are the best value Medium sized ones in hatch or estate but you will not likely get 200 miles on a charge in the best conditions with actual people in the car needing Climate / AC on. 150 miles ish, as with the Peugeot / Vauxhall-Opel, Citroen-DS, Fiat etc etc, unless driving and getting lots of regen. Then best possibly and likely the affordable choice is a Zoe, new or used. MG's & Renaults sometimes now sold at the same dealers, as will the Dacia EV's when they are available.
  16. 'Slight' / minuit / not very long, and you know how long when you drive DSG's, Dry or Wet clutch. So if you have not got launch control and you go to Sprints / Drag Strips etc you might hold the car on the Parking Brake if you have a manual one and launch the car rather than hold on the brake pedal and then mash the accelerator. The difference is 'slight' but over 1/8, or 1/4 mile might make all the difference.

  18. @automass Sorry but you make it hard work as you missed the most important fact. The boy that serviced the car could probably have told you about the change of tyres and possible change in fuel consumption.
  19. The car was built / painted weeks ago and left the factory with protective covers and then transported and then prepped at the Dealership, the paint is far from new.
  20. @automass So you might have noticed that on tyres there are stickers that show the likes of Economy with a A,B,C,D etc. Then even if the same size of tyres the new ones might be a little bigger / greater circumference than the used ones they replace. ? What tyres have you fitted? ? Have you checked the pressure the tyre fitter put the tyres at and reset the TPMS?
  21. @automass You posted that you know it is 5w 30. So that is the same as VW504 00, as long as it is to that spec. 5w 30 Full Synthetic III. It took you long enough to mention the change of tyres. ? So when were they fitted?
