taking pcp for benefits then cancelling?
I've done this numerous times, the last time 6 months ago. My last car was only 8 months old so the warranty and recovery didn't bother me but there was a £500 deposit contribution and the service pack so well worth the £300 charges.

So you only get the perks if you don't cancel the Finance. So you can't cancel during the 14 day cooling off period. You will get an online account with Skoda finance, on day 15 you can click on settlement figure and bank transfer the funds instantly to pay off the finance. This way you keep all the perks. What has changed since the older thread is there are now admin charges, commission charges and a small amount of interest to pay. This will come to around £300

If you want the benefits then you settle the finance after the 14 day cooling off period. Pay the charges and a small amount of interest. If you cancel during the 14 day cooling off period then the finance and all benefits are cancelled and you have to go back to the dealer with some cash.

taking pcp for benefits then cancelling?
I've done this recently and so has a friend. Just be aware that if you cancel within the 14 days you have cancelled the finance and potentially all the benefits. Skoda now include the commission charges so paying up early after the 14 day cool off period does include some charges as well as the interest. For myself and my friend were both charged around £300 in charges and interest and both paid off 2 weeks after purchase. It was still worth it for the deposit contribution, the 2 year service pack and in the case of my friend the two year warranty.

2.0TSi 190 Fuel economy. Pleasantly surprised.
If you look at the official figures and those posted on here they are that close between the 190 3B and Evo4 it's really not worth buying one over the other. Just buy the best car you can afford.

Bump Steer
Yep. I thought the best mode for speed humps would be comfort but no that's the slowest and most uncomfortable due to the bottoming out and the bounce. Turns out Sport is the best, no bottoming out, no bounce.

Main beam light not working
If you are feeding LED lights off the output of the ballast then yes I'd suspect the LED lights are causing the failure.

Buying a Mk3 - Impossible specification?
Just found a December 2019 brochure and they were standard then so maybe a facelift addition? OP would be looking at post 2022 so L&K of that era should be ventilated. But maybe all academic as it looks like someone in OP's family has issues with leather smell.

Buying a Mk3 - Impossible specification?
What year were they introduced?

Buying a Mk3 - Impossible specification?
Just get an L&K 😄 All the toys you want. The Leather in the L&K is perforated so not sweaty and they are heated and cooled. Has 18" wheels as standard and you also get DCC so you can set the ride to comfort if you want to.

Driving Score on the Skoda app
The only way to stop Skoda having the data was to enter privacy mode which makes all their paid for services unuseable. They saw an immediate drop in renewals and owners asking for refunds. People are worried, there's already cases across the pond where insurers got hold of similar data stored by GM and people saw the insurance sky rocket. It's not just about speeding, it's driving at night, on more risky roads, accelerating, braking and cornering too harsh. etc. etc.

Driving Score on the Skoda app
It was removed on the previous update due to unpopularity and owners concerns over data sharing. Skoda also removed it from the UK website.

Hello! New Superb owner
Canton sound system in the Superb 3 is good but it's nothing special. Not nearly as good as other upgraded systems I've had from manufacturers.

If you have an SE Tech then they only have LED headlights and not the Matrix LED of the SEL and above. Only Matrix LED headlights can do the simulated foglights.
