How much do you pay per year including interest if paid monthly?

I'm a bit envious of UK Briskodians when reading the quotes from Awesome and comparing them to what I'm charged here in Sweden, and also when hearing about prices for used cars. But when it comes to insurance it's the opposite:

My Felly 1.6 estate is £130 p.a. for 3rd party, theft/glass/fire. SWMBOs Octy 1.6 estate is exactly the double (£320) fully covered.

I've better get myself some shares in UK insurance companies

I think it's about one in ten cars on the road here has no insurance (and usually no MOT or driving licence as well) which does bump up the cost for us more law-abiding drivers , but it's not *that* much more expensive than sweeden by the sounds of it if you are a low risk.

I pay about £450 for my 2.0TDI octavia for fully comp with no mileage limit , guranteed hire car , protected no claims bonus and business use as well.

It was £30 less last year but my girlfriend now has points on her licence which knocked up the cost.

If I was driving a smaller engined car and didn't want all the extras on my policy I could easily pay under £300 fully comp

I have added mine, but this poll uses a very broad brush indeed. It does not include the car, driver age or level of insurance. I am 55 with full no claims discount and I paid £385 in April 2008 for a 3 year old 2.0 litre Mk1 Fabia, fully comprehensive, any driver aged 25 and above.

Mine is under £1000 by £4!!!!!

Hopefully will be going down next year when I have a second year's NCB.

Just had a aquote on a Fab Vrs- £800 with no ncb 23 in ol2 postcade with upto 250bhp worth of perfomance mods thanking you

£1001 quid for a Fabia 1.4Mpi this time round, one year's NCB and i'm 18, living in Oxford.

Touch wood it should go down to about £750 next year, all mods declared.

My first year was £1800!

1.9Tdi 4x4 - Fully comp with NCP = £280 with CIS and got £30 back by buying through Greasypalm website

No mods, full no claims discount and protected. My premium is £280, out of that I only have to pay £30

all mods declared £319 including no claims protection legal etc

£470 NCP,legal cover,breakdown cover with Wife on policy.

All mods declared with 10+ NCB 37/30.

"Full exhaust system?" Is there a discount if you only have part of an exhaust system?

i just renewed mines and got it down to 350 from 558 by changing companies . Thats fully comp with no mods:)

Voted for 2... Either side of £500. As the £ vs. the ₪(nis) has weakened by up to 35% during the last year! So that makes if converted on a rate of a year ago +/-£440, Now @+/-£560, & when I renewed my policies for the 1st of Jan. +/-£490. Heck 2 weeks ago it would have been +/-£590! My local rates are ₪2,398 for Collision/Comp./Towing/Rental Reimbursement/Theft over 11 payments negotiated no interest & ₪1,344 for Liability with ₪4 of this being to split it up in 12 payments... Sorry I don't have the policy levels off hand. Yet I'm now 30 as of last Saturday the sole driver of a 2004 Seat Ibiza Sport 16v-100hp!
