  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Applied some G5 to the windows and screen. Think I used a bit too much though. but oh well.

Clipped a curb trying to get through a gap and pierced the sidewall of the passenger side rear tyre which deflated in about a minute. Then couldn't get the bloody wheel off so ended up calling Skoda Assist to change it.

Just glad I got the spare wheel i saw on eBay just after I bought the car.

So got to price up a new Goodyear EfficientGrip now and then see if my local tyre place can do the same price.

Mine lays at the top of the stairs keeping watch over my car scaring the cats away :)

be interested in seeing what the new interior light looks like and costs as I have been thinking of upgrading mine

Wow, where did you get them from please Mike

Not bothered about the door ones unless they come off without removing the card which I guess is a good possibility?

Fitted the variable boot floor into my Citigo.

Fixed my split boost hose on Saturday, and today noticed how smoothly the car goes now.  I think there must have been a slight leak for a while then it split badly last Friday.

likely ! it doesn't just blow a large hole what replacement did you use?

Put it in the garage and got my running issues sorted. Got the car back with my wallet £350 lighter........

The hole was big enough to get my finger in.

I just bought a replacement OEM one from TPS.  It was the short flexible section coming out of the turbo and into the solid pipe to the intercooler that went.  Piccies in this thread.  Does look like the replacement was a revised version.  The captive jubilee clip was very helpful and a damn site easier than the stupid spring clip on the old one.

Didn't have the time or money to go replacing all of them, and it's a pain removing the armour plating from the underside of the engine.  Besides mine is only a 140, it's fast enough for my use and on stilts.

the samco kits do look the rogs dollocks tho !

Had a pair of RS3s fitted to the rears of the LuxoBarge by my local tyre shop. Also had the front nearside tyre checked as it was setting off the TPM every four or five weeks. Turns out there is a couple of patches of corrosion / bubbling on the paintwork inside the rim so my tyre shop have rubbed it down to smooth it out again and popped the tyre back on. But obviously eventually it'll need a proper refurb etc...

And showed off the Twindoor's magic boot and umbrella to another couple of people while i was there and having a chat. Another reason to support your local tyre shop rather than going to the big boys.... The friendly chat and banter. :)
