What did you do to your Skoda today?

Featured Replies

A productive day for my vRS. Updated my columbus to new firmware & updated to the latest maps. Got my wheel alignment adjusted so now runs perfectly straight. Fitted my updated bluetooth module so my iphone now connects.

Tomorrow - cleaning it!

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

  • modified the cup holder     It's now a hobnob holder

KBphoto kindly coded bluetooth to the car and sorted a couple of minor faults along the way so thankyou for that, all working great :)

ALso managed to get home before it started raining and gave it her first clean!

Bought a new turbo. :)

Swapped the new turbo for a different turbo. ;)

I fitted some pressed plates and holders.  I'm really impressed with them :)

As it is the weekend, the usual, nothing. Just sits there looking fairly clean until the working week. Managed 22 miles on the push bike though

It had two new tyres fitted to the rear this morning, Bridgestone REO02s, I suspect they won't last long. After that I went home, jacked up the car, took the rear offside wheel and wheelarch liner off, checked the top strut mounts were properly tight, the rear brake caliper mounts were tight then refitted the liner with repair washers under the screwheads and blobs of sealant where the liner seemed to be rattling/drumming against the bodywork, time will tell if it's cured a rattle we had going slowly over certain road surfaces. Time starts now.

Decided to sell it.

Bought it two Dunlop Bluresponse since it failed the MOT test as one of the rears was cut through to a cord.

Went to see Clive at CN Tuning and had lowering springs and a RARB fitted.

Top bloke, so pleased with the work and good laugh too.

Picked up an aftermarket exhaust and GTB1756 turbo from BossFox. :)

Fitted a new exhaust sleeve as going for MOT very soon.

Suppose I should wash it as well.

Sealed and stuck the windscreen back in on the fabia. Its been leaking for over a year but I fixed that with some electrical tape. Anyhow today was a good day so out came the tiger seal and it's now sorted properly.

opened the boot looking for something that wasnt there, then got back into the work van to go to more locations the next few days... I hate our work vans :(

Had a new condenser fitted and regass. Then a wash when I got home

Went to pick up some old doors, to find that they had excellent taste in cars.

After cutting seemingly miles of hedge, spent ages searching for some Porsche calipers for the NQSBBK. No luck yet.

Looks like it won't happen before the holiday now.

Got the new Dunlops fitted so back to the MOT centre tomorrow.

Got the pillar pod I made for the octy back from the flockers.

Thanks Timfok, awesome little addition and loving the A4 Avant S-Line, great upgrade from the Fab B)

Booked in at VASStech for its MOT next Saturday.

Took it for its retest.

Found the lad had not logged it in the system.

Drove it home because they thought they had given me the paperwork.

Drove back to the MOT centre because they had not

Had a word with them.

Got it passed.

Vacumed it and the Fabia and cleaned the interiors.
