  • Picked up the new VRS: 2013 Fabia VRS by Graeme_Smith, on Flickr

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Walked past it with the bike again!

In a b+b one of the main streets in to the city, went last year as well

Took mine for its yearly check up. Tyres & exhaust replaced pre-test. Car failed on....A loose CV boot, which they fixed for free, so I walked out with a green bit of paper instead of a red one :)

When it cools down this evening, its getting a full valet inside and a wash outside too.

New front tyres fitted to mine over the weekend...a tad overdue, but back to muchos grip again :)

Cleaned and re-oiled air filter

Full service the other night.

Mad detailing session due later in the week before being put back in the garage for the next 3 months...

Gave it a wash, sun came on half way through so much for light showers tide marks all over it now.

Ordered some lowering springs 30mm :) same as VRS Pagey

Drove to Wales, filled it with second hand steelies and drove them back to Bristol. :wonder:

Swapped a ripped off tyre, and last week fitted a 1400 16v to it

I looked at the back of mine as I drove off in the Toledo, and thought "that looks a damn fine motor"

Drove it for the first time since Sunday.

Needs another wash through :'(

Hosed off the dust from my vRS

Washed and Superguarded Dad's Yeti

Washed our T5 VW Transporter

All in all a busy days washing cars! Not raining yet either which is a result!

1. Got my winter tyres delivered & fitted.

2. Test fitted them on my car.

3. Then I swapped my rears to the front on my normal set.

Don't worry I am not running winter front and normal rear, it is just a comparison pic

I like the contrasted look! emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Don't think I've seen Montreal-IIs on an Octy1 before; they suit it

Thanks. I think they look a lot nicer than the original Montreal's.

I tried getting hold of 16" Spiders, but at the time it was very difficult. Plus they were more money, for wheels that will only be on the car for 1/3 of the year.

I had a set on one of my Fabias and they worked on that as well. A nicely designed, balanced looking wheel.

A perfect winter wheel emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Washed the Fabia today.

Changed the coolant temperature sensor
