Well done Davy emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Cheers Wardy :)

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Fitted my new seats today. :)

They're from a Polo TDI Sport and so are pretty much identical to the Fabia vRS, except they are in black, are a bit more supportive (probably because they haven't done 94,000 miles), and I now have the added bonus of the passenger seat being height adjustable, the drivers side has a proper drawer instead of the cubby, a 3rd rear head rest and the rear armrest/cubby thing.

One slight niggle is the rear seatbelts clips don't line up with the holes in the bases. I expect they revised the position of them slightly as they were from a car that was a fair bit newer than mine.

They appear a lot lighter in the pictures than they actually are.

Nice work, they suit it well emoticon-0148-yes.gif

The 1.2 TSI I bet!

The 1.2 TSI I bet!

Probably

Can hardly hear it on tickover, but rougher than my 110bhp Seat on acceleration, and less pull :-(

Wonder if it's the 6v or the 12v. You get a whole 9PS extra with the extra 6 valves :D

So yes, that's the sum total of 69. And it still has a cylinder missing. Which is why it sounds rather 'odd'. I term it rather similar to a large food blender...

Enjoy emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Just washed mine, again.

Got my delivery of Winter Tyres...

Waiting for my winter steel wheels to show up

Gave it a quick wash after yesterdays proper wash before Waxing it.

The rinsed it off and went for a quick drive and had a play with an F430 spyder :D

Cleaned my throttle body, makes a difference too.

Applied some Wolfs Chemicals Car Paint Sealer I was given by Waxamomo.

Quite good ....but the Optimum Opti-seal is better

Washed it, dried it, drove it.

Matt

left it on the drive, its Sunday, wouldn't want to annoy the neighbours by starting the engine hahaha

Later today going on a near enough 200 mile round trip to Dundee and back in the Fabia after work this afternoon.

hit a cyclist a little bit, got blue scrapes all over a wheel and dented the rear wing...

Got my Shark remap done yesterday, very pleased.

Just got it back after three days in the local dealership having various things sorted out including a drenched wiring loom. The bill ... £00.00! Thanks to the boys at Valley Services, got to be the best Skoda dealership ever! ;)

Changed the passenger side drop link

I had a wheel bearing replaced on one of my rear wheels, can't believe how much better the car is.

John

Got my Superb back from the dealer after some warranty work.

Washed, polished and waxed the Fabia today.

Davy

Hope the cyclist is OK too!

yeah they cyclist was fine. he got his iPhone out of his back pocket, checked it worked and the screen wasnt cracked and said he was fine and pretty much just rode away.pretty sure he was going straight on in a left turn only lane at the junction so not entirely my fault, i took the corner wide and everything. my car looks horrible to me now, anyone know how big a dent can be removed paint free and cheaply? this oneis about the size of a persons head...

Gave it a bit of a thrashing, in the company of an S2K and MX5, on route to the oldest freehouse in England.

Washed it, swapped wheels front to back, filled it up with fuel, last tank 53.5mpg (brim to brim) not bad considering I had 2 bikes on the roof at motorway speeds for around 100miles

Gentle right foot and Ben's maps are ace :thumbup:
