What did you do to your Skoda today?

I thought it would just be dirty, we clean our radiators for industrial fridges at work with compressed air they can get like your intercooler in 2 months , an intercooler is just a radiator at the end of the day

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

  • modified the cup holder     It's now a hobnob holder

Tweaked some bits with VCDS on mine tonight.

And tried to get the coding right for the Bolero to work properly. So hopefully that will be that; I can use it and not get battery drain :)

Tomorrow will tell - fingers crossed emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Drove the Fabia, been laid up for a week since I have been on holiday, but things just recently have made me lose intrest in the car, thinking of a wee change again but not certain on what I fancy, know I want something quicker but money is tight, might look at a mark 1 fabia vRS again.

Took my Oct'y to Silverstone today for the F1

A big well done to the Carpark organisers. was at my sister-in-law's in Milton Keynes having a cup of tea within an hour of leaving our Grandstand seats.

Cleaned, used Auto Glym Super Resin Polish, Extra Gloss Protection (2 coats), Collinite 476s (2 coats). Finished off with Meguiars Gold Class High Gloss Endurance Tyre gel, and Gold Class Trim Detailer. Not perfect but a million times better than it was.

Finished off with some wing mirror scuff guards, £1 from a Halfrauds bargain bin.

Yep, £4.99 for the vent.

All I need to do now is to get the bumper to sit properly :dull:

Headlamp Washer covers?..You dont have headlamp washers ...so how can you have a cover?

post-53584-0-01722600-1310921418_thumb.jpg and how many times have you used them with your lights on Chris, never, as all the cars I ever had with them I never pulled my windscreen stalk with the lights on as you get windscreen wash all over the bonnet and bumper . And no-one has a cleaner car than me, The only ones which worked were on my M1 tipo, (proper wiper blades,) M2 and all the cars since look cool when they pop out but really only spray soapy water!

A few times..It doesnt make that much of a mess tbh..It soon runs off and leaves no residue

and my car is as clean as yours. GET THOSE GLASSES ON :giggle:

left in the garage out of all this horrible rain...and gave the inside a clean. That's what garages are for aren't they ?

Took it for a WOF (MOT)

It failed!

Worn back tyre (scalloped - from when my bushes were shot I assume)

Also exhaust leak where the guy fitted my decat downpipe 18 months ago.

Fitted some rear mudflaps, yes i know there not suposed to fit a "sport" bumper, but put them in a bucket of hot water while you take the wheels off you can then bend them into place

Also fitted a new parking ticket tab, not as straight forward as the mk1 Oct'y as i had to work round the Airbag :S and the trim screws into place as well.

Really sad, but I just looked at it for a little while........

Put it through a service and MOT and it passed :smirk:

Well done Davy emoticon-0148-yes.gif
