I've had a message from someone concerned that the GB may not be above board or using an official Ross-Tech UK Distributor cable etc.

The following is the gist of the reply (I'm not going to give their name or their message) and I trust answers anyone's concerns if you have any.

The list in post 1 is being updated nightly with payments received so members know it's arrived safely, for tracking, and for transparency. Bank transfers have been taking 3 days, and appear (so I can see details of who sent them) 24hours after showing having left participants accounts so far - instantly if the same bank.

I hope addresses anyones concerns.

Hi,

I can guarantee is that they are a distributor listed by Rosstech, and everyone taking part will get all the official receipts and paperwork. The UK distributor was chosen out of the 3 that actually bothered to quote - all were contacted following Bruce's PM contact about holding the GB.

If there is any question as to the legitimacy of this GB, I can provide the site admin here with proof all is above board. The site admin also hold valid contact details for me, being a site moderator and having attended moderating team/site staff meetings.

The price was only achievable by confirming this was a once only offer, orders would be sent to one address leaving me to redistribute, and that a minimum order that would need to be placed. To achieve the min qty the Gb has had to evolve into an inter-form GB hosted at Briskoda - the last such GB was held by UK-MkIV in 2007.

If anyone has concerns this GB is not legit, then they do not have to take part. And if they have paid their share towards this GB, then I will happily refund them in full as will I to members who's circumstances have changed meaning they cant take part. I'm not going to force anyone to take part, nor stop them changing their mind prior to the GB closure deadline.

Your name is on the GB list, but payment hasnt been received yet.

If you have posted a cheque, or made a bank transfer in the last 2-3 working days then check that payment has been received and the list updated accordingly tomorrow eve (some time between 9 and 10pm). Bank transfers are taking approx 3 working days.

I must have payments as cleared funds by 5pm 15th March from anyone interested in this so order can be placed 16th, and *hopefully* cables delivered by the end of that week, or early the following week.

I have therefore placed final dates at cheques must be received in 10th March's post, and bank transfers by 15th March. Payments can take 3-5 WORKING days if not the same bank as mine, 1 working day if same bank.

Payments not cleared on time, will sadly not be able to go towards a cable and will have to be refunded.

There will be no exceptions to late payments, no extensions, no extra cables bought and no repeat or 2nd GB from this distributor. I have already pushed to get this as a 45 day GB rather than 30 they were seeking, and reluctantly they agreed if numbers and last date of ordering could be guaranteed.
