If anyone that's sent a bank transfer recently banks with Abbey/Santandar, check the payment was successful!

Had 3 members who've had payments that suddenly appear as having instantly failed after 3 days with no explanations given. Certainly not down to my bank, as payments have landed when these payments have bounced and they've confirmed it's not down to anything they've done as they'd contact me straight away if anything was a miss.

Some banks have also had their fraud measures kick in (a pain but good to know they do look after our cash from scroats), however you should get an instant message as to what will happen next - certainly the Lloyds customer that PM'd me did.

It was considered, but discarded due to fees and issues.

If you've sent a cheque, and not showing received in post 1:

The Cheque deadline has been reached, with no new cheques being received in todays post (only bills and car tax - Yippee!). As such any new cheques cannot be considered for the GB. I shall contact members that I know were sending cheques, or once arrived and I can tie up with a member where my PM filing has gone wrong.

The reason for not listing their name sooner was completely mine, however due to the hasttle that the distributor has had today with somebody fishing for info and essentially badgering them constantly I have posted the info.

The comments I have been made aware of, claiming this isnt above board, using someone selling cheap knock off cables, or that I'm going to scam everyone has thoroughly p'd me off.

Given that tomorrow I'm going for day surgery (really quite frightened), have spent most evenings on this rather than with SWMBO etc you can understand I'm not in the best of moods, and this hasnt helped.

So:

- I am very unlikely to be online tomorrow. I will be back Saturday.

- I'm not chasing anyone up on payments. Done that Saturday. As per PM's etc, if your payment doesnt arrive by 5pm Mon 15th you wont be included in the GB and payments after this will be refunded.

and

- There will be NO MORE ADDITIONS TO THIS GB. If you're name's not already down on the list I'm sorry but I dont have the time or the inkling after those comments to add anyone else.

It's not that these people have wanted reassurances all is above board, it's how they've gone about it that's really got me riled.
