Fabia RS official photos and info

Featured Replies

Here's a short video of a facelift Fabia on 17in Trinity wheels in Rallye Green with the white roof, should give a bit of an idea what the RS could look like with this combination (the green looks soooo much better in this video than in the press photos of the RS!):

and an advert for the new RS

According to the UK PDF online brochure , thers no Rallye Green option....held over for the vRS only in the UK then?

That would be normal Skoda UK form, they like to dictate what we can and cannot have (no satnav option here either)

It looks like it's been lowered to make it look better. Is that -15mm or standard in the video?

Yes, it's lowered. The 17in Trinity wheels come with the sports suspension option automatically in European markets.

So no sat nav , no trinity 17s , no Rallye Green...great stuff. NOT.

Oh and that car looks great in the French road test video. Damn shame youre going to have to buy a vRS to get one to look like that here.

I agree :(

I actuallt prefer the Trinity wheels to those on the RS to be honest. I'm holding out hope that Skoda UK will bring out a new 'Sport' spec in the near future with the lowered suspension and Trinity wheels.

The other option would be to order the Trinity wheels seperately , as I'm sure SUK could get you them , and spec your new Fabia with sport suspension ready for them? Keep the 16s fitted with winter tyres , fire the 17s on for the summer posing season , job done! Or you could order the 17 option wheels from the Fabia Scout (I appreciate that ordering wheels singly and then putting tyres on them costs a hell of a lot more than speccing them as a factory option)

hmmm wonder what thay vrs would look like with colour coded grill and that daft chrome bit colour coded. ....anyone care to tease me with a photoshop...

Couple of pics of the new RS in various different colour combos out in real sunlight and not in a studio.. the green with white roof & wheels looks great, much better combo than the black roof they launched the car with. I was beginning to discount the vRS on the launch photos but now I'm swinging back....

Certainly looks a lot better!

Yellow with black roof 'n' wheels looks pretty mean .........

................... but personally like the Green with white roof 'n' wheels.

check out those lil roof rails!!! haha.... very cute! lol.

Loving the green and white!! and the little shark fins! :p

I called into my local Skoda dealer today to enquire about the new vRS, my LE is due to be changed at the end of its lease in October. I was told they don't expect to be able to take any orders until September, and then a three month lead time. Realistically 2011 delivery.

The green even looks quite good with the black roof when it's out in the sunshine:

Any pics of the estate from that outdoor shoot? :)

Any pics of the Race Blue as well?? Not keen on that silver roof at all, definitely should be a black one! But that blue is fantastic :)

As for the Rallye green ,the more I see it, the more it's growing on me ,but with the original black roof and silver wheels!. And as for the wheels, again, they're growing on me too and

actually, it's good to have wheels that look that bit different. :)

No more pics at the moment I'm afraid.

I think the race blue will look good with the white roof.

I reckon the best colour combos will be:

Body/Roof

Red/White

Black/Silver

Black/White

Green/White

Anthracite/White

Also white body with white wheels could look quite cool.

Anyone fancy getting a patriotic paint job on their RS? :)

I think If I was ordering one, I'd have Race Blue (all blue) or Green with white roof and wheels, although I want to see one in the flesh first. I don't think I'd have a Black Magic one next.

I wonder if we will get a choice of wheel colours in the UK? I bet we don't.

I too have Black Magic as my current colour and although it looks fantastic when clean, I just fancy a change next time.

With the help of other manufacturers' websites 'build-your-own' features, I have done much experimentation with bodywork and roof colours and my final choice is Race blue/ black roof and silver alloys.

Despite having the choice of colours for the roof and wheels, silver just doesn't go well with any colour, white will get far too dirty too quickly and as for black, yes I considered it for the wheels, but I don't want the car to look like a gangster's!

I initially wanted to go for anthracite with a white roof and silver alloys but unfortunately, Skoda's grey is too dark for my liking, if a little bit boring!

If only the grey was similar to the royal grey, associated with the Mini Park Lane....

The Race blue is almost identical to the Mini laser blue and with a black roof it, looks absolutely stunning in my opinion :)

So, finally, I have chosen the colour of my new vRS and absolutely can't wait now  I think I've finally accepted that superminis aren't cheap these days and I'm going to have to fork out £17k+ whether I like it or not, but the more I look at the videos, the more I want one! ( I have a funny feeling we're going to be seeing many of the green/black roof cars on the roads.....even I think they look great now! ) But for me, I'll be very happy with Race blue and Black roof....I have always liked something that little bit different :) Classy looking but not over the top!

I work for a Skoda dealership and the boss has promised the first Fabia vRS we get to be put on as a demo car for me. Something to look forward to.

I think the important word used in the Autocar test is "optional". DSG should be optional on the new VRS. I could live with reaching 60mph between a half and one second slower whilst saving £1300.
