Had my 8.0 ET44 all round. So why not put the same 15mm spacers up front too?

Good point. Perhaps that's the answer. Or I could just wait I suppose for a set of 8 x 18 et44 to become available. Like the ones on eBay though because I'm guessing they are like yours Magic and don't have the 'Motorsport' wording

Those (on the eBay link) wheels are nice Moley.

If you want to look for the CH style BBS in 8.0 ET44, just search for BBS VZ033. I had these in ballpolished, nice and bling :giggle:

But those A3 BBS in 7.5 are good too (design the same as my old VZ033, without the motorsport) , if the price stays reasonable.

+1 for 15mm all round. I have them with std 18" Zeniths and Eibachs.

Gone for ET42 to hopefully do without spacers

So nearly went for 19s but couldn't justify them - 18s are plenty big enough

I was indeed Mr Grizzle - wife works there. I did wave at you, are your eyes painted on good sir?

:D

Haha, thanks - WAY too many posts over quite a long period of time! Just going at my usual steady pace though really B)

Spot on Bry - hopefully my Turini stance shot in the other thread has shown you how they'll sit

Agree on 18s, I wouldn't go any bigger. 19s look brilliant, but that's where the brilliance ends IMO :)

Looks like your front wheels hang out of the arches a good 5mm or so? Is a camera trick, are the flush?

I thought that too Moley. For me, the 15mm spacers on the back + standard at the front = perfect.

Camera angle. If you put a straight edge vertically against it it's well within the arch.

I used a piece of cardboard ;)

BTW, I ordered my spacers from the US on eBay.com and saved about £15 a pair, with bolts. Only took ten days, too!

Nice one, my Hubcentric ones cost £50 a pair from Fleabau

Yeah, spacers on the front do push them out a bit too much for my liking; maybe it's the design of the bumper. Have you got a pic available down the side of the car skodaphile?

Ride height on yours also looks higher at the front than the back, or is that another trick of the camera? Are you on std springs?

I wondered that Wardy but I'm sure he mentioned he is on Eibachs which would explain the rear looking lowered nice

The wheels are already up to £510! Still 5 days to go too.....may have to wait until Brimma gets his and hope he forgets to put his anti theft bolts on

Fair enough, must have missed that. Just think the front ride height looks a little odd...

Yikes, and they need a refurb don't they? I'd look elsewhere personally. Put it this way, I paid a fair bit less than that current bid for my set of Turinis in need of attention...

That's what I'm thinking. Also the wrong offset really. The search goes on.....
