Some of mine. Mostly of the moggies since they are the only ones who never complain that they don't like the picture :(

Ginger is Spock, White is Yoda, Black is Ophelia.

It's funny, but you know how photographers all seem to have subjects they concentrate on.

Well It seems mine might be reflections and water.

great wildlife shots. Must have taken some time to get them. The one of the owl is amazing,

heres a couple of mine although I'm just an opportunist wildlife photographer. I actually go out mainly for landscape but if there are animals around I’ll grab them.

Fab shots, especially the Kenyan ones.

I've got the owl one printed at A3 on my wall. Had a minor flap when the camera failed to focus on the bird as it flew down the field towards me, for a few seconds. Got that shot just before it changed direction.

I hate hate that lost so many shots that way but I'm getting much faster at selecting the AF points now. Some great shots on you website and you've inspired me to go through to Bassenthwait and see if I can get some Osprey pictures for myself.

Thanks :)

If you go to Bassenthwaite, be sure to call in at the red squirrel feeding area, as you can get some decent shots of the little critters from there. I was told that the ospreys tend to fish at another lake nearby, which has a fish farm on it. Knowing what ospreys are like, I wouldn't be surprised. They like an easy source of food!

Been to the viewpoints a few times and they are great but there is so much food around it’s hard to get a natural looking shot. They are normally straight onto the feeder and off again.

There’s a bird hide on the other side of the lake much closer to the nest which I’ve been to a couple of time s. As you say the male is fishing in Derwen****er which is strange as it’s about 2 or 3 mile away and much deeper. Bassenthwaite is only around ¼ mile and much shallower so should be easier to catch fish.

When the Female arrived she was fishing in Bassentwaite so hopefully when the eggs have hatched she will fish there and the male will copy off her.

Just returned from a trip to the Isle of Wight and thought i'd post a couple of shots I took whilst over there. It was my first time visiting and I was blown away by the fantastic scenery.

I didn't ask him to park like this, but it just looked spot-on, so I went for it :)
