Is that with the same setup as the last dyno at Shark? (207bhp/415nm) ? I know different rollers will not give identical results, but that torque difference is immense! 415nm to 488 (306 ft/lb to 360).

Same setup. However, studying the graph in full, rather than that picture, the torque line actually reads 310ft/lb.

The line you can see in the pic above reads 215bhp on tha axis on the left of the page.

Ah, that makes a little more sense I know Shark's dyno is seen as fairly conservative, but a difference of 50 lb/ft would put them as very miserly! For a short while I wondered if I could claim 500nm as I had 438 on their rollers, though a little less bhp than your Roomster. Even at 310 that's still really good - it must be a hoot to drive. Admittedly people don't think of Yetis as quick cars, given the age demographic they're associated with (BossFox and a few others excepted), but a Roomster has to be one of the ultimate sleepers.

It's Been years since I've been to Jkm, I'll have to keep an eye out if you do one next year,

I spoke to Kate yesterday about the next one. We agreed that October is a good time for them and us as show season's are over and the air temps around the end of October are better with colder, denser air so keep an eye out in the South Central meets section from around June 2016

A few things to bring the thread up to date.

Whilst moving some steel rims around in the Roomsters ample load space, I succeeded in fracturing a component part of the seat locking mechanism whilst the seats were folded up.

Some swearing, a screwdriver, some spanners, grazed backs of hands and circa £30 of replacement parts later it was fixed.

Not two weeks later, a lapse in concentration whilst parking up at Moto's finest on the M1, followed by some over zealous reversing resulted in this :'(

A discussion with Alistair at UNIT18 followed and a plan formed. A partially prepped replacement bumper sourced from eBay sent straight to GM Bodycraft for paint and then removal and re-bonding of the Scout trim parts from the damaged bumper onto the new one and good to go again

A gentle reminder for the dash pod

and bang up to date after a wash on Sunday and ticked over 116k

To the best of my knowledge, yes :yes:. The scout trim pieces are bonded on afterwards.

Thankfully, these were able to be salvaged from the damaged bumper as new parts at £100+ each (3 parts of trim on front bumper) would have meant prohibitive repair costs.

That's cool, if the scout trim was gloss black you could almost get away with a Monte Carlo bumper. Would look pretty smart

The shot above makes the front end look a bit 'poverty spec' which I suppose isn't helped by the steelies.

There is a small chin splitter that's not been re-fitted in favour of a ridiculously low, and wholly more Racecar one.

But, until such time as the muppeteers have finished furnishing my street with tarmacadem, then it will stay as is.

So having booked Ultimate Dubs, my usual tongue in cheek approach to the heavy 'scene' ensued.

Cue the milotec splitter that had been in the garage for a year, and the obligatory windscreen sticker
