Im up for this if Im allowed? (non Skoda/VAG). Love timed events, huge fun as long as people dont get to serious!

Will everyone be on road tyres? Or we using sticky stuff?

I could also get some Rover boys interested if we need even bigger numbers?

yeh, true. But then i could get shown up by a Deisal. Works both ways

If you do happen to need an extra body, dont forget me :)

Id bring the Ford if that goes down better, I just like the thought of timed laps with road cars...

oh if only I still had the octy ;)

and the 4 part worn corsa's... don't think the old superb liner on that track is going to be that competitive ;)

Maybe on Llandow or some off shore race

This could be a very good laugh, to spice it up I'll throw in some prizes, if thats allowed ;)

IF you need anything else, get in touch.

Tagging thread for updates :)

Right, I'm definitely in for this.

Any ideas on dates yet?

MSV are supposed to be coming back to myself or Pasty this week.

I don't want to step on Pasty's toes, so once we have something he'll get the ball rolling...

We are hoping for a Saturday in early May I believe.

I am now in possesion of all the facts - HOORAH!

Contrary to my previous beliefs the events do not run in a morning/afternoon format but each session is it's own 3 hour long individual event.

The events essentially run like this:

Hour 1 = sign on and briefing

Hour 2 = Practice session

Hour 3 = Timed laps

Maximum attendence is 18 cars per event.

The West Circuit is booked out for the full day for 4 events starting at 8am, 10am , 12pm and 2pm

The

Briskoda How Fast Event

is provisionally booked for

10am

on

Bank Holiday Monday 7th May

I have chosen the 10am time slot as this means most might not have to get up at stupid o'clock in the morning to attend AND it will be finished by 1pm which is the lunch hour of an open pit lane track day running on the rest of Bedford circuit, meaning those who fancy it can go on to do half a track day after finishing the How Fast event.

Makes the travelling a little more worthwhile

If we have more than 18 participants those not intending to do the track day (or who fancy a lie in) can book into the later session which begins at 12pm but will be avaialble to the general public - unless by some miracle we get 36 attendess sellin gout 2 session and booking out half the day to Briskoda.

MSV have offered to produce us a Briskoda leaderboard across the 2 sessions if necessary.

The guys at MSV have offered us a special 10% discount as we are booking as a club and should have more than 10 attendees.

£99 - 10% = £89.10

Pricing for the track day afternoon is £80 (essentially half the £160 full day price)

The 10am Briskoda session will not be released online to make sure it is exclusive to us so bookings have to be made over the phone.

If it helps us book out 2 sessions i'd be happy to open the 12pm session up to members with non-Skoda track machines
