rob, tbh mate i think its another pointless part from ECS. i have had many mk4 platform slammed on its bum and the wheel shifting forwards has never been an issue. its all part of the stance i think. It 1 thing i will deffo not be doing.

today i got cleaning it.. 4.5 hours to just to clay the thing!! (thats including the 10 mins i hid in the car as the hevens opened) Out of all the cars i have detailed personal and through the company, this is up high on the top 3 worse paint works i have clayed!

managed to clay the whole car but only managed to 1 stage compound half the car before i had to hide it in the garage as the dredded rain and thunder has returned! you can see already with no polish, wax or sealant the already starting to get some depth into the paint. Silver cars are notoriously hard to get any depth to so fingers crossed the rest of the car comes up as this side and bonnet has.

if you compare that to the pics i took last night, theres a vast improvment. Hope i get time to finish it for brands hatch on wednesday!

personally, i blame the smurfs for my vinyl misconduct... will have to see what it looks like in the day light.. im not convinced.

That's not bad actually. If someone described it to me ("silver carbon centre console") I'd have hated it. Looks nice though :D

ooooooooooooo carbon......... silver carbon :) thats my plan, and also my gauge holder :D

What Anout around the headlight switch

Or around the fans ???

oh and did the 3 pieces come off easy?

Looks nice, better than the lame black spotted standard trim!

Might see you on Wednesday if you're up at Prept. Simon said you're coming to Castle Combe too?

LLoyd, the 3 bits come off easy. the ash tray has 4 torx holding it in, the other 2 bits just pull off. Im still not sure if i like it over the black CF wrap.

Turkey_lip, i wont be going Combe unfortunatly as funds do not allow it. :( will be at prept tomorrow tho as long as it aint ****ing down.
