Lol it was more for show plus I didn't want some divvy track assistant breaking my intercooler setup, I spoke to a guy that builds track cars and I bolted mine through the slam panel at the bottom of the subframe I used an exiting bolt hole and got a longer bolt I have used it a few times with no problems I.e bending or cracking

But I have to take the bumper off again anyway so I'll cut it off

yeh thats where i mounted mine.. on the chassis leg theres a nice hole ready!
