Haha, No, I kept the lovely lass for myself and yeah she was ;) , though that's since changed and she's gone onto liking the female form.......

Was that her pink tractor in the background?

I might go for a full track bike and spend a year doing multiple track days around uk and maybe a few abroad if  the bank will stretch !

Do it! UK has plenty of tracks to keep you busy enough, has to be the highest concentration in Europe surly?

I was going to get a blade in 2011 but the tool at dealers who was meant to get back to me with a provisional trade in price for the ZZR1200 never did so I looked elsewhere and came across the ZZR1400 (almost literally). Looking about Gumtree and just seen this, is that a good deal or what??

Looks ok, but the price reflects the fact it has NO MOT! That'd give me doubts to start with as surely if its as good as it looks they put a fresh ticket on for the sake of £30 and and add a good chunk of value to the sale price....

MOT is different here seller offers to MOT it but it's not like you guys just book it at local garage and turn up. Can take months to get an MOT appointment here.

I don't get that app at all with the phones these days I don't see the point in it at all. I just use the full site on my phone so I am seeing it as if I was on a PC, that way I don't miss anything.

Use Chrome app it doesn't let you click on the wrong things etc and auto sizing the screen I can read all text clearly with my crapy eye sight   It really has come on leaps and bounds!

That sounds good mate. I'll look into that :)

If you went to click on something thats tiny and there are other possible things close to it, it will auto popup a zoomed in frame of that area for you to select the specific one etc. Very handy and never clicked on something I didn't want to as a result.

***EDIT***

Screenshots off my phone:

sideways

Screenshot_2014-10-22-01-08-37.png

tall ways (note the pages numbers at top left being small items to select)

Screenshot_2014-10-22-01-09-22.png

When I click on one it zooms in that area in a bubble to let me select more accurately

Screenshot_2014-10-22-01-09-33.png

It's dead handy as it fits the site in with phone tall or sideways all by itself without me needing to adjust the Zoom unless I choose to etc.

Epic!

I'm buying a tourer and doing a Euro tour next year with the wife.

Once my car is sold I'm going bike shopping....

We'll be using air B and B for our accommodation and staying in peoples homes.

That's what we did in New Zealand and it worked very well indeed, if you've not tried it

have a look and see if you fancy it. We met some great people and got the inside track

on all manner of local knowledge from people who live there. You gradually build up feedback as a

guest similar to ebay and you rate your hosts as well so each accommodation provider has a

rating too. Read more here       but we're hooked and will be using air b and b again. We are

thinking of offering our spare room up in the summer as we are a short drive from Bath and that

is very popular with tourists, that should bring in a few pennies.

They feel much more rigid than the Merlins, not as comfy or warm either but for the price I can't grumble :)

The biggest problem I have with people is them driving too close behind me, especially in the dark as I end up riding into my own shadow and seeing less road in front of me :swear: ,

That why they invented lh indicators, chances are, your lights will annoy them more than their tailgating annoys you.

Nipped into the bike shop today n told him politely that is like the heated grips putting the correct way as its bugging me, it looks ****e and i cant even flash my headlights.

He didnt seem too happy but i said if nip it in tomorrow.

That and the fact he charged me £40 to fit them (which i thought was expensive?) means i might be finding another bike shop to use soon

See what happens tomorrow i guess
