Its fair though. For a lot of people bikes are just a summer sunday thing and dont do many miles compared to cars.

I have wondered what kind of co2 bikes put out for a while, just out of interest. The statistics are generally hard to come by arent they.

I dont know. But at the moment its in the favour of those of us with relatively big engined bikes. So we shouldn't complain.

To be fair, we need to take a cold hard look at the rest of the developed world and realise that we are one of the least taxed people when it comes to motoring in Europe and not push it.

But this isnt relevant to the vehicle tax.

All im saying is, if we moan about motorcycle tax, we'll probably just end up paying more. Or those of us with half decent sized engines will.

but to add to that if you where logical bikes should pay even less tax than they do now regardless of co2 output. They don't spend copious amount of time sitting in traffic jams they get you from A>B fast and efficient so the government should be doing all they should do ease congestion. 

Bikes in the top tax band which is £80 a year now! The little fabias still £110 (or is it £130? Cant remember) though

Everything comes at September time for me, so im doing 6 monthly tax on the car n bike to space it out about.

The revisions in 2010 knocked the emissions down abit didnt they. Enough to put it down a tax band.

I have 3 Vehicles and all 3 are taxed and insured at the same time yet i can only use them one at a time? so why don't we have insurance on the plate like many other countries as it stands to reason that if i can use more than one at anytime then we have bigger problems then tax or insurance evasion.
