My ramp arrived and the acid test, could I use it with it folded in half to keep the space I needed to get bike in front of it????? Was like it was made to measure

 

 

 

 

Was too lazy to push it to shed and as it's been sat a while was a little groggy turning over, battery seems a bit low :( So let her run for a good while. But once up to temp, I found a possible issue with keeping it in a wooden shed...

Oxford sports heated grips fitted today!

Blimey, they do get hot! Its actually uncomfortable on the hottest setting and i found it too warm on 50%. I was just happy on the lowest setting haha.

Although i did have my summer gloves on and it was 16 degrees out, so no real need for them today really.

Really happy, itll help on the longer journeys, especially on the motorway.

I payed a local mechanic to fit them, as i simply havent got the time to do it myself really.

One thing that i didnt realise at was the wires off the grips go infront of the 'flash' trigger, so i cant use that now. Which is abit annoying.. Im currently trying to think of a way around this problem haha.

they don't have to go into the flash trigger, should have asked him to route them somewhere els considering you payed him to do the job.

+1 go back and get them to not block a safety feature. They are cylindrical and can be fixed in any position, they may have done it to keep it looking the same as other side having done it first with regard to the pattern on them. If they didn't use the super glue that comes them it would be handy (sometimes the fit is tight enough to not use it) if so tru and turn it yourself to the desired position free of all controls.

if he has routed the wire through it your going to dismantle it ? should have just fitted yourself.

Been using my bike for work this week, done quite well, 150 miles to the tank and had some brisk riding on the way in the mornings. My god is it filthy now though, proper rank!
