Can someone tell me why I keep buying gloves....

I'm up to 6 pairs if I win the current auction I've bid in.

But I only just bought a different pair (Duchinni Stig gloves) just 1 day ago. WTF is wrong with me.

I have 2 pairs of Richa gloves 1 pair long cuff and 1 short, 1 pair of RST Long cuff, 1 pair of Weise Short cuff

1 pair of Duchinni Long cuff in the post on their way.

And there may be some Alpinestar short cuff on the way if I win the auction.

I'm a glove ho.

Edit... Won them too... Bu99er.

Youve can only wear one pair at once mate!

Cheap though, £7.99 for Leather Alpinestars.

May sell them on if they don't fit perfect but I suspect they will.

I like to have a few pairs so I have a choice to offer pillion riders.

To be fair, my weise short cuff gloves at about £75 cost me more than all the others combined.

I just can't pass up a bargain.

Also, Mrs g has summer and winter gloves of her own already. I didn't include her pairs in the list.

I'll take a look. Cheers :)

Seems to be abit trickier finding a company that does the vtec. I think it must be because of the layout.

Scorpion do nice ones. £560 though. N im not spending that haha.

Well these made the template link pipe based on my mates sounds good

I went for a quick spin yesterday to my brothers, massive queue in the multi story car park because of some show so I just filtered 4 levels up :D

Going for a spin to the local bike cafe for some much with my mate later. I ran the bike from standing up to xx mph yesterday, fully giving it death in each gear with gear changes as quick as possible, bike moves quite well when it wants to!

It will move well! Aha.

Did it not wheelie or wheelspin from a standing start?

Yeah, I had to ease off a bit initially to keep the front down, then into second I think it popped up again a little. :D I do love how easy it is to just chill on it though, filtering or just plodding along it doesnt mind.

Niiice, sort a video out? Is Delkavic a UK company then? I always saw their exhausts on ebay and assumed they were Chinese or something.

I was presuming that they were Slovenian like Akrapovic.

Often you get a spin off after the original company does so well and then one or more disgruntled worked fo off and do there own thing.  Delkavic have an UK office near Stoke I gather.

We have just had another downward revision in the Japanese Yen to the GBP so we can expect Japanese bikes to become signiifcantly cheaper over ther the next few months, and also Japanese cars.

In 2007 we went from 230 Yen to the pound to 130 Yen to the pound and in a mater of months 600s went from £5K to £9K and 1000s from £7K to £12K RRP.

Yen dropped from 130 to 180 in the last few month under Abe-nomics, long may it continue!

Happy days are here again.

Just had a look around and i cant seem to find out where theyre made or if theyre any relation to a Akrapovic.

The office in stoke is the warehouse for the uk as far as i can gather. Its quite big and its clear things are delivered there, then they distribute across the country.

Thats all i know (: haha (:

In fairness I've been looking at Mivv & IXIL exhausts mainly, I'm fussy. My mates been sending me exhausts on eBay for his bike getting my opinion on them, making me then look for ones for mine :D I have been temporarily side tracked by single seat cowls recently though.

Is there a good selection for the cb?

I've seen one with a standard can, n hmm, its a weird looking thing innit haha.

Get one bought ;).

I liked the Beowulf can i had on my SV. Sounded very well.

Single seat cowls are good! I was lucky that my viffer came with one and the handrail infills when i bought it.

Yeah quite a good selection. Stock can is pretty bulky, mainly seems to be a big cover that goes down and covers the ugly cat underneath.

I'm not fussed about extra power, but a little more noise would be nice and the weight saving can make a decent difference on a bike I guess? The two I like most are the GP style ones like this;

Or a IXIL Hyperlow

DSC00066_zpsf115a250.jpgThe second is the front runner, as much as I love the GP, it needs the pillion peg as a top hanger, as you can see in the top photo of my bike I've taken the pillion pegs off, plus it covers the view of the single sided swing arm a bit.

I like the simplistic look, so dropped the pegs & a single seat cowl should look nice. I did look at a LED rear light that had the indicators built in but not sure how good they are at actually telling people which direction you're going :D

I remember when my dad had his old VFR750 he cut holes to fit the cover over the pillion seat with the grab rails on :D **** knows why lol

Just looked at that delakavic stuff looks nice but no aprilia stuff at all

They both look awesome!

Worth having a listen before you buy if you can though. I've heard the GP style one on another bike and it was properly loud. Like, do your head in kind of loud.

I wouldnt bother with the led lights with indicators built in tbh. I've followed a few bikes with em fitted and theyre ****. The indicator blends in too much, making it nearly useless tbh.

Ahaha. I dont know why either mate! (:

Bit of late night rack removal.

Just fancied the cleaner look and i dont need the panniers for a while as I've got no trips planned over winter.

So i whipped off the rack and hand rails, then popped in the little infills.

Just looks abit tidier i think.

Edit. Apologies for the poor quality. Its dark out there aha.

Oh and its upside down too. Sorry to the desktop people that now have to sit on the ceiling.

Sorted

^^^ Standard exhaust looks awful, what were the designers thinking of?

It's neither offensive or nice to me, sounds alright but bit quiet. I think part of the issue is naked bikes and trying to hide the cat a bit. All the after market ones come with cat covers, how good they look in real life I dont know.

They both come with baffles and are legal so unless I remove them should be ok. I certainly done want anything too loud. LED rear light is not going on, well maybe have one wired up to just replace the standard sidelight/brake light but keep the stock indicators.

Niiiiiiice, still love the VFRs, lovely looking bikes.

You can always wear earplugs ;) haha.

Cheers!

I've left the baffles in these and theyre pretty loud. Just about right though. People will hear me coming now but it wont do my head in.

Got knows what its like with no baffles in, ridiculous id imagine. I wont be finding out anyway. They remove from the back of the can and i cba taking em both off to try it lol.

^^^^

:(

To be honest, I really hope it doesn't sell, I really like it but there isn't any point in having it if I haven't got a job to be able to use it!

Also stripping my mountain bike to help fund my business, 2 of the biggest love's in my life :(

I keep trying to convince myself that being my own boss will be worth it & in time I shall have the money to replace them both
