Yikes that's a bit too close for comfort :S

It wasn't all that close really but I was the one who had to control it, wasn't best pleased. In a town I am converting a vid to upload now with narrow streets I was riding along and a car passed a parked car on his side and I moved right over to kerb bouncing the drains for him instead of forcing him to stop of have a head on, didn't move head, hands, feet or flash lights or anything and as he was squeezing by in his Corsa he jerked steering wheel towards me. It was very unexpected and he clipped my arm with wing mirror. An old man was sweeping pavement outside his house and saw it all, he waved me to go after him, I did turn and behind him he went into learner mode. I passed him between villages and pulled over in next one and just stood there at side of road and helmet stared him out with arms both fully extended to sides as he drove past trying to blank me.

That was the end of it, he did a little poo I fear after the ZZR had turned, been behind all though the narrow village then roared past. Not something I would normally do, I tend to just shrug it off (I leave wing mirrors intact and car doors dent free) but it was the most uncalled for dangerous thing a cager has ever done to me as far as I am concerned and I was livid! :@ Had I seen a Police car I would have stopped them and the car and put my cameras mem card in my mobile to play it back.

Don't blame you - lucky you didn't end up with broken arm or wrenched off bike !! I get totally hacked off on a regular basis by how close people tailgate me - sure half the time it's because they know I'm a woman and want to intimidate. :wall:

Yay - finally blue skies and sunshine - managed to take Gladys ( Gladius ) out for a spin today :0) Did have to get jump leads on her first though -seriously flat battery - not good.

anyone else get out today ?

Good girl! I also got out today still some snow on ground but only in the fields etc. Did start to snow just as I finished checking tyres all dressed up ready to go, so I went anyway :D

Glad you managed to get out too - hope there wasn't too much snow :o

Enjoyed being out today, though was a little concerned incase I stalled having taken a while to get her started  Think another blast tomorrow is in oreder to top up the battery :)

Some snow in this clip but not so bad as you can see. This van driver was being a tool he was driving furiously and overtook a few cars which had I not been on a bike would not have been safe at time!! Then he turns into a junction on wrong side of road. That road goes into a little village 300 meters later and he bombed on through it and I caught him up in the next one he was parked up and getting out of van stared at me, if I thought he would understand English I would have exchanged some abuse tbh.

The state of him too.....

It really confused me as I was planning my turn and then he went that way I had to triple check myself then missed a big pebble right in middle of junction so had to go wide around it last minute. It was absolutely freezing and I don't have heated grips on the bike yet :( also didn't think to wear my balaclava :bandit:. Just saw this clip flicking through of me being grumpy for a cager that didn't indicate off a roundabout causing me to be delayed by a good 1.8 seconds :giggle:. Also another with same roundabout I posted a video of before ironically but this time a car getting shafted like I did, my annoyance was with the both of them as car that was in front of me was no indicating or positioned to go right so held me up further!

Note my videos always stop when my speedo displays the correct speed :giggle::blush:

New video tribute to Joey Dunlop, it is a really good one at the end it shows a clip from a tribute show made just after his death where Phil McCallen talks about him one I have always remembered as it sums him up so well. A true gentleman and a pure legend!

Strange that - I wonder how that works :)

Forgot to update this. Passed my Mod 1 a few days ago. Really helped that a few days before when I did some on road practice that when we got back to the yard they made me do the slalom and U turn until I go better at it. For some reason I'd struggled with it but again I was told that I wasn't to be too hard on myself having gone from nothing to this stage. Few days later I had Mod 1 practice at the test centre where I found all the cones in the slalom there was more space so because I'd been pushed hard to do it with less space it helped massively for the test. Got up to speed fine. Speeds were spot on for the test and all went without any problems.

Got Mod 2 practice on Monday then if I'm fine I'll book the test.

Good stuff, chuffed for you. Not much more to go now just need to ride the bike with someone following you telling you where to go. You have proven you can control the machine now all you need to do is demonstrate you know how to use the road, as an already qualified and experienced road user this should be the easiest bit. Take your time listen to what your told and perform good clear observations with obvious movement of helmet in directions you should be.

You will be on 2 wheels for the summer no dramas now

No such thing as 'Old topic'. Spring is here :D and it's here to stay (ish). I have not owned a yellow bike but am by no means against them I did have a yellow Mk1 Fabia VRS. VRF800 is really my type of bike tbh don't know why I have never really checked them out....... If I sell on the Z1000SX I might have to add them to my list of things to check out.

That looks sweet, nice and aggressive but not overly chopped up so in the street fighter sense. Bet it makes some sound with that stubby?

Also I had operation on my leg to remove metal as shown in earlier post from a biking accident, unfortunately they were unable to get it out of my leg and it appears I am stuck with it. Not happy about it and need to consider if I should or should not keep on biking at all, a bad break on it again could cost me the leg and there are so many moronic cagers out there etc etc...... I am sure as soon as I am fit to walk again and get on the bike I will forget all about that but, is on my mind at moment unfortunately.

I know its a Peug advert but this is my type of lady!
