I have absolutely no problem with lack of bass on my stereo system.

The best standard fit ICE I've experienced was on my old '07 Audi A6 Avant. That said, I've been quite impressed with sound that the Amundsen+ seems to be able to create when set up properly. I can't say I felt the same about the Columbus that was in one of the test cars that I tried out though. Now if I could just get the wife to stop filling the doors with all sorts of crud I'd be able to stop all the rattles coming from them...

Whats your ideal setup if you don't mind me asking?

I usually have Bass, Mid & Treble turned quite high as the stereo rarely gets used at very high volumes (the wife uses the car mainly and the rare times I do get to drive it she is usually sat next to me "talking"). That said, there are the occasional times when I do get let loose alone in my own car and the music gets turned up - I just have to tweak the bass down slightly for the occasional track. All my music is on SD card these days.

just had an update on mine - it needs a new gearbox and this will be ordered at cost of about £4,000 to Skoda - I'm glad this is under warranty!

Some aspect otherwise. Someone somewhere got told there was an extra 100 estates so most are estimating at least 600, some of us estimate it slightly higher. My guess (totally speculative) is 750.

Edit: perhaps we should just email skoda and ask!

If you have heard there was more made then they must of, just didn't update their website, the little star next to 500 doesn't fill me with confidence though :p

I have no personal knowledge that there definitely was another 100 - someone on here posted it. Skoda did indeed say there would be only 500 so it could be the case - although its hard to say. I suspect they will just have carried on knocking them out til the Octy 2 parts bin emptied......

only Skoda will know how many have been built, what's not to say they initially made 400 then a further 100 estates to make up the 500?

I'm still a bit gutted my dealer lied to me a month ago and said there were non left available and so I had to settle for 2nd hand (at full price), I would of loved a race blue hatch but still like my white hatch :love:

Hi, I also have a Silver Manual Estate Blackline on order, which was given this week as production, but i haven't had any real update on possible delivery time.

Have you been given a date yet?

Spoke to the garage today - build is in week 8 - which in Skodaspeak means next week? I don't expect to get delivery until end of first week in March - we shall see
