Saw a 13 plate race blue estate (blackline) at Motorline Skoda this morning, not sure if it has been bought though. Had all the tape and stuff on it like it has just recently been delivered.

Heard today(from dealer) that all Estate Blacklines are now registered. :( That's all Folks!

Have noticed a few pre-registered appearing here and there with 10 miles on the clock.

Sure it wasnt privite plate as the car would have been registered befor march so it should be a 62

Don't think your allowed to put a private plate on that makes the car out to be newer, and it had a 13 plate on it so not sure. Plate is LX13 ***.

As I said still had the blue tape on the doors etc.

LX13 wont be released till March. Mine is waiting for collection , i have to be patient 2 more weeks . Though i can then have it registered for 2013 but i will be putting my own plates on.

Looking forward to it as said earlier been driving 1.6 Elegance Octy Est Man . Picking up DSG Blackline Est in black, not sure how much the driving experience will differ ?

My fist priority will be Bluetooth then window tints , not sure wether to keep the grille chrome ?

i cant remember seeing these in maxi-dot when i was having a look earlier

are they there ? if not will VCD activate them?

just been to dereck slacks in middlesbrough and they have a new unregistered blackline saloon in black in the showroom, looks lovely, unfortunately i was just dropping my car off to get epc light checked and i cant afford the blackline.

washed the car today, thought id take the rubbish the dealer had put on, it wasn't rally that dirty before though

No one seems to have fitted or been supplied with new badges i thought this would have been a feature on the Blackline model. As said previously picking mine up in March and will want new badges on all round.

I don't actually like the new badges - we asked the dealer about it and he said it's only happening as the new models come out, so Citigo and Rapid have them, then the new Octy will when it comes out, Yeti facelift and so on.

I think Blue looks best with the Original badge but Black Est with blackline finish will look best in the new black badge, especially those black alloys !

Who needs a freaking 6 cd changer when you have an SD card slot. Thousands of songs available at the touch of a button. I haven't even used the single CD in my blackline in the 3 months I've owned it - no need!!

ONe of my rear parking sensors seems to be faulty, its registering an object and close quarters when nothing is there. Any ideas or back to the shop?

A common vRS issue this; its more than likely damp. I had this problem after having it washed then having it sit in torrential rain all night. Try dabbing the seal on the affected sensor with kitchen towel; almost certain to fix rhe problem. Hasnt happened again to mine as yet.

Checked with dealer on when my replacement gearbox will be delivered (As its on back order) - I was told - the computer states there is an 82% chance of my DSG gearbox arriving on the 28th Feb. Blimey, its like predicting the weather. I'd be interested to understand how they got to pricely 82%! I feel an urge to go the bookies and put a bet on it not arriving. Would be good odds!

We have a white one with black alloys being delivered before feb 28th. It will be used as a taxi on our fleet at Eastwood Cars :-)
