Has anyone been given a delivery date for the Blackline Octavia VRS?

Featured Replies

My Dad is looking for a new Octavia VRS Blackline estate. Are there any remaining? Im trying to find him one so i can have his current car!! :)

A dealer emailed me te other day saying they had a black diesel in stock. I had tried to do a deal on it a couple of weeks ago and failed, He mistakenly emailed me again trying to sell me it but as i had already put £500 down on a non blackline with another dealer it would have had to drop by a grand from his original best price to make it worthwhile loosing the deposit.

I have deleted the email but i believe the dealer was caffyns and possibly their tonbridge wells branch.

Christ mate. I bet your a riot at party's. I'm closer to 40 than 30 and don't appreciate being referred to as a kid, simply because I'm looking forward to getting my Blackline. In my opinion, kids d

Thanks,

I'll give them a ring now.

Nothing psuedo about them!

Blackline in Silver it is and Im sure will look the part :)

Probably one of the last to leave the production line.

Yeh not entirely sure how its pseudo either, although the 3 colours are white blue and black, silver was never mentioned.

Never understood why manufacturers offer a "black" edition when they offer the car colour in white..

Shame they were only in diesel's i bet they would have sold a good few Petrols too.

maybe the "Black" in Blackline is in reference to which pump you have to use when refuelling

My mate has a Black edition A5 quattro 2.0TSI, wonder why Skoda done a diseasel only.

my mate has an A6 2012 2.0tdi s-line black edition

nothing black about it apart from the factory tints!

wheels are dark titanium ish colour so no idea why they call it the black edition lol

Any joy mate?

Any black line still available? Don't really want the estate.

Nice! Beats the customer service I've got from my dealer since picking mine up - no contact at all.

saw a new Silver vRS with black wheels on a transporter this morning, heading for West End garage in Uphall

Picking up by silver Blackline on Thursday. Were these the last down the line?

yep, seems like they found some silver estate bodywork down the back of the sofa, and "Blackline"d them up to sell them off.

Who knows, the previous batch of "extra" estates included spare wheels fir free which weren't in the first cars- so the silvers might have even more leftovers in them :)

Get a pic up on here when you get it....I haven't seen any of the silvers before so very interested in seeing one.

Cheers

B

It will be good to see one!

Looks good mate. Agree on doing the grill....that was my first job. A little fiddly but not difficult. Would suggest getting it wrapped when you get the windows done. I used plasti dip and whilst it looks good it is already lifting on some of the edges to my disappointment .

I got grill and mirror caps painted. Also got b pillar and a wee stripe wrapped. Plenty options available for you.

Really liking your silver. Def needs some tinting also.

I've seen a few cars which West End have put a spoiler on themselves (green one in main Edi showroom, silver one in dunfermline), so they would be a good first point to ask to get a benchmark for cost.

Ian at West End also told me they did the grill and tints for a customer who bought a black Blackline, so again they could give you a ballpark

My only nag with the manual box is not having the steering wheel multi function controls-Can this be swapped over to the other wheel without the paddles??

I've fitted the MFSW (without paddles) to my 2012 vRS, parts all from skodatiele, details in my blog.

agree black grille would look good on that car. don't like splitters myself, but the car would look very good IMHO if it was a little lower.

thanks for the blog link rob_e I'll look forward to reading it

is it me or does anyone find the black alloys a nightmare to keep clean and mint?

being black it shows every single mark :(

Cleaned mine today with autoglym clean wheels and look as new.
