I suppose this vRS needs to be put on a dyno that is proven to give accurate figures, such as a DynoDynamics or Mustang. There are a few points to make 1 - The stock GTB2260VK will do around 310bhp

This is a run of a Skodia Fabia that has only had a turbo, injector, intercooler upgrade with a good map, the rest is totally standard and these are the results we got.

357 Bhp and 398 Nm of torque, a bit smoky but it pushes you in the seat.

?You will struggle to find an diesel engine as reliable as a Skoda

Why would he know the exact details of a car he has not built. Come on!

The car is mine, It is in daily use, and all the power is used daily too ;)

Performance specs are as follows:

Standard unopened pd130

standard 6 speed box

exedy uprated clutch with solid flywheel

custom injector nozzles from united diesel

seat sport front mount intercooler

4 bar map sensor

straight through 2.5 inch stainless decatted exhaust

mapped by the best out there.

Everyone knows how dynos can vary, it's common knowledge. What makes me laugh is the reactions some people give when power figures are given. This is what it ran on this dyno on this day. We did nothing to influence the readings, and we have nothing to gain by doing so. It was run at an independant dyno where we just turned up on the day and we are not making mad power claims - we are simply telling what it says on the sheet.

So it runs these figures on a standard turbo too....

Wasnt clear, but I would rear the highlighted as PD130 engine is unopened (well minus the head for the injector upgrade)

Not unopened PD130 "TURBO"

so you would be happy to do this to a customers car and tell him its running 350+ with the small spec list sorry not small spec list tiny spec list

im sorry but rather than trying to boost sales with bull**** why not go out and get some real results

id be intrested to see the rest of the dyno print outs for that dyno day and compare the losses

Not unopened PD130 "TURBO"

lol unopened i bet that engine has been opened a lot

Wanna re read the torque figure?

That's 398.4 lbft at 4472 so that's 339.23 bhp! Lol

Also that's at an independent rolling road so the calculations were not done by us. Either way it pulls like a train and the BMW that was mentioned earlier was a 3 litre TURBO petrol! And got 340hp running on the same rollers so were pretty happy with that from a diesel! Although the BMW did look and sound awesome!

so whats with the 250 line ? just ther for fun i take it ?

were is the 339 line ? dident make it onto the paper

Doesn't it say torque (lbft) on the right side of the graph?

you just proved that the dyno is bull****

as 398.4 x 4472 / 5252 = 339.23 wheel power

but the dyno sheet is showing 250 wheel power

ther is no 339 wheel power on paper if ther was then no one would be doubting it

but the simple fact is only wheel power can be belived and you have 250 wheel power not 339

Why is this going on this kilner person is abit out of order. Fair enough having your input and say but there is ways to say it, way out of order on your first post.

its goin on me cos they no what im saying is the truth

Im not arguing any figures as i know nothing about that side of things but i do know the correct way to speak to people.

No LSD? **** that.

To be honest, it wasn't our dyno, we don't know whether it was bs, we had a cracking day, great fun and some nice cars! It's all about the fun and whatever the figures say its a diesel and plenty powerful enough it showed higher power than the scoobies and the BMW on the same rollers. The printout is the proof and I can't say it's lying because the info is written at the bottom!

and i get sick of people ramming **** dyno runs like this down peoples throats who dont even no what they are looking at other than the 357bhp part and think that is amazing and then go out and spend 5k on a kit and dont get what they think the ywere goin to get

i may be speaking harsh but a few harsh words is beter than spending 5k on somthing that is not what you thort it would be

so to end this now

what was the wheel horse power that teh dyno estimated ?

not our calculated wheel power the actuall dyno wheel power ?

this is my last post i hope you answer correctly

I've ended it with my previous post.

Don't worry there will be a run down the pod at some point! Keep your eyes peeled!

It started of someone showing a car they dynod on the weekend with no mention of who's it was or what kit. Not one person has mentioned a kit to buy to get this power. As Karl said they just turned up for a day out with other cars for a bit of fun and this is what the dyno guys handed them, dean and karl wasn't even going to post it and brag as you think they are doing. I think this has run its course people read what they want no matter what you, they or I say.

Edit: sorry wrote this while everyone was replying. Bossfox has the best answer 1/4 mile time will be the best figures to look at.

We give no power quotes when we build peoples cars. there are so many factors when tuning an engine that affect it's power output and you well know that Kilner. The turbo on this car is our big kit, found on our site.

Not our dyno, not ever promised anyone that their engine would produce the power. Nobody would want to run this amount of smoke on the road anyway. Figures are figures. They were put down on paper by an independant rolling road and their competance is under question here not ours.

All we did... is hand over the keys. At what point is a picture posted by a third party classed as us ramming something down anybody's throat?

The End.

all im asking is what are the wheel power figures on the dyno sheet ?

no one has confirmed the wheel power but you are confirming the max power

im not asking much just for you to tell me the wheel power its clear for every one to see the wheel power i just dont understand why you carnt say it ?

Cool. Keep us updated.
