Agreed they look like brochure shots, would be keen to see other angles, not much about on the net as yet though.

I spy new wheels? Certainly look like a lighter varient of the L&K alloys you can get. I'm looking forward to the new facelift

Even better looking than the pre-FL. Estate is the way to go. Hopefully they'll introduce the 185bhp diesel that goes into Octy vRS as a range topper.

More powerful diesel engine (at least I'd like to see that if it is not visible in the photo). In fact, if I close my eyes I can clearly see a 2.5 R5 TDI unit outputting 215bhp

According to information from my friend who works for Skoda Czech Republic, Kvasiny factory alternation for FL models is finished and from Friday 22th of March starts the production of FL Superb2 and Yeti.

The main changes to the facelift will be the grille, headlights, front bumper and the rear hatch (and lights on the liftback) so these photos really don't tell us much!

I popped into Derby showroom today buying parts, when I asked about FL Superb they said it was out in June, they didn't have details on any revised engine lineup though.

I suppose the new headlamps, bumper and grille could be replaced on the current model or am I wrong. It'd probably be expensive but would like to know and possibly how much.

If it was that simple, then they wouldn't need to make changes in the factory - they would just bring in a different stock of components at the side of the assembly line.

The bonnet will be different too. I think it would be very expensive to DIY.

But it's always going to happen and some models last longer than others - in 2006 i bought a kia sorento at alot less than list as it was being facelifted (new headlights, and 30 more BHP) - new car i've just bought (Collected end of Jan) has a facelift being launched now - but thats ok, i saved over 10 grand off list for a pre-reg "old" model... nothing's changed on the engine front, and little inside (think the clock's moved) but thats about it...

If it gets the new interior materials as used in the Octy III it will pile more pressure on the A6 and 5 Series brigade! If anyone placed an order with the vat free deal and end up getting the facelift, you will be one lucky, happy customer!

Today booked test drive with new skoda Octavia just see in what direction Skoda is moving now ! But I do not plan to buy one just wanted to test drive...

And i have quite interesting news...rep in Skoda told me that her colleagues just returned for SuperB 3 Presantation in Prague....As she told me this car is really SOMETHING The new Audis and VW do not come even close to it....But bad news is that we will see it only after two years at dealers

Yea, I can imagine, that acquiring Jozef Kaban to Chief-designer post in Skoda does mean, that IMHO VAG understands, that Skoda is not enemy, just very strong verified daughter to fight the Korean and French. So probably VAG permits all the goodies of concern.
