No sorry to confuse you you can play music from from a USB stick and HDD if you don't specify the apple Mitusumi connector. If you do specify the apple connector you lose the USB connector .

When using the Bluetooth streaming you can navigate backwards and forwards within an album using the steering controls but cannot change album.

I've just washed the car for the first time... I know I've had it 4 weeks but I was putting it off as that's when you find the bodywork faults missed at handover, despite checking it over and over again. Luckily I found none except the poor quality of the valeting!! The clean lines make cleaning a quick process if you know what I mean, but time saved cleaning the car is lost cleaning those bl***y alloys, they have so many faces I keep missing something!

The one thing I've noticed is that the flanks look very exposed to to**ers who park next to you, there is nothing to protect them, it looks like I'll be parking even further away in remote corners of car parks.. If that is possible!

Yep it appears to be a single unit, put a cd in and it doesn't give an option of where to load it to and wouldn't accept a second cd. You can load a cd full of mp3s if you want, but if even I have put my music collection on SD card there can't be many out there that totally rely on CDs lol!

No problem matey, ask anything you think of, i wish I'd been in the position to ask questions; when I ordered neither the dealers or SUK customer services knew many answers!!

BTW I bet the canton system will sound amazing if the standard set up is anything to go by

The regional manager had the car equipped with this system and I could hear it. It was really nice. I will let you know after the car comes if this is really nice or just good. For sure it sounds better than the normal one and the sony from the ford titanium I heard. The frequency response was ok but I need to test with my own tracks and with the correct settings of the equalizer.

My first brim to brim figures are computer 50 mpg actual 47 mpg over 400 + miles of mainly a road commuting. By comparison my last brim to brim on the vrs was only 4 mpg better, over the same profile, the vRS had over 26000 miles under its belt however whilst the elegance has only done 550 miles. I'm now going to play with the sports and economy modes for a while before doing another brim to brim when it's got a few thousand miles on the clock.

Really looking forward to hearing the Canton - got it ordered with mine. Spoke to dealer on 20th when I took my car in for MOT and he said my new Octy was in Emden waiting for a boat to Newcastle....he reckoned it's usually 2-3 weeks once it hits Emden before I can pick it up.

I mentioned about the dealer maybe having to order the sat nav stuff but they said it will come with the car as it's standard on the elegance....did you have any issues with this Stokey? Any more news on how to obtain the free updates?

Roll on a few weeks time, can't wait.

When I picked up mine it didnt have the SD card in it, when I told the salesman who didn't have much of a clue, that it needed one he went off and and obtained one from the parts dept. He said that on checking he was told that the dealer needed to order one when ordering the car. Still no news yet on the updates yet, they'll be via the Internet then SUK finally sorts it out, still the map on mine is more up to date than the TomTom we bought late last year .

Little update on this.....

Picked my car up on Monday and the net system wasn't with it. So I queried it again and pointed it out in the brochure. The sales guy came back to me on Tuesday with a screen grab of a memo from Skoda stating that this was a misprint in the brochure, however they will be supplying nets to dealers to pass on to any customers who ordered on or before 24th June 2013 as a goodwill gesture. Anybody ordering after that date won't get one.

So if anybody is awaiting delivery or about to order point this out

Exactly that Juniperz.

If you fall within those dates for ordering your dealer is obliged by word from Skoda to supply you with that £50 net accessory when they receive them due to that term used in the brochure. Apparently this is going to be removed in the next print run.

Can't really answer that one Pumatron, but me personally i'd be asking for my money back given that it's stated in the brochure as an extra which they've held their hands up and admitted was an error and are now providing to affected customers.
