Just bought an used Fabia 00' 1.4, and the guy that sold it said he had changed the 'speed sensor' (behind gearbox), and it worked for exacts 2.4 miles after we got the car, then went... From other posts could see that some people had problems with the sensor itself, some on the wiring loom, some on the speedo cluster. We had it checked and there is current and resistance from the wires and sensor. Anyone with similar problem, and the solution please?!?!?! Thanks 

Oh, and I looked on eBay, and a new engine loom costs £250!!!! I don't want to spend more than £50....

Might be worth checking that the connector has not simply worked loose.

Do you mean the sensor connection?? I've checked that... Is in the right position
